some units I thought up tonight:
Catapult:
(Contraption)
Hit Points: 45
Power: 20 (attack can’t be blocked)
Armor: 15%
Recovery Time: 5
Range of Attack: 4 squares
Block: 100% all sides (only affected by magic damage)
Tiles Damaged: A square of 4 tiles
Shoots a giant stone or flaming rock at the enemy.
This contraption is alike to a ward, although if designed like a real catapult it will probably not fit in one square. If that is the case, then the contraption could take up the space of two units while only counting as one.
Barbarian:
(Human male)
Hit Points: 58
Power: 28
Armor: 13%
Recovery Time: 2
Movement Range: 3
Range: melee
Block: 60% front, 30% sides
Carries a large axe in which he attacks with; this unit is alike to a knight only less defensive and more offensive. In my opinion it would be nice to have both a barbarian and a knight in the field so you can have a defensive fighter (the knight) and an offensive fighter (the barbarian).
This unit will be a large man with rough characteristics as if he lives in a harsh wild forest. The barbarian has moderately long and dirty hair, and some kind of costume made of sturdy but torn cloth/leather. He uses his axe to block incoming attacks when he successfully blocks.
Shaman:
(Human male)
Hit Points: 38
Armor: 5%
Recovery Time: 4
Movement Rate: 2
Range of Spell: 4 squares
Block: 25% front, 12% sides (while not in focus)
Spell: +8 attack, +8 armor, +16% block front, + 8% block sides.
As long as the shaman stays in focus, the target of the spell still gains a benefit. When the spell is cast, the shaman raises his staff and a light circles around the target, the shaman goes into focus mode.
The shaman carries a long staff with a gem or stone at the tip (or just a thick circle/diamond shaped wood at the tip). The shaman wears a thick robe with some stitches along the sides of the robe and has a strange face.
Entangler
(Human female)
Hit Points: 35
Armor: none
Recovery Time: 3
Movement Range: 4
Range of Spell: 5 squares
Block: none
Spell: entangles an enemy unit for 4 rounds, does 8 damage on each round.
When this spell is cast, the enemy unit is entangled by grasping roots for 4 rounds, and as the roots crush it, it takes 8 damage on each round. The unit can still attack, but it is unable to move for the duration.
This spell caster is tangled by vines but has no staff or weapon. The entangler wears a robe and casts entangling spells through magic it sends forth from its hands. I was originally thinking of a mix between an archer and a spell caster, but the idea came to be a little different. I am kind of un-sure weather this character would work or not, any thoughts are welcome.
Well I hope none of these ideas have already been put out, any feedback would be greatly appreciated and I hope you like some of the units.
Note: I probably have many spelling errors and might have trailed off a couple of times judging by the fact that is 4:04 a.m. now, but here it is none the less.
