New player looking for help please

Hi, I just stumbled across this game while looking for something to do in my computer class at school and its very fun. I would like some basic formation and stragegy tips because frankly...I have no idea what im doing and lost almost all the games I play. I want to get decent so I can upgrade to gold and it wont be a complete waste. Thanks in advance.

If you run a search of "strategy" on the forums, you will find multiple threads that could give you some help. Other than that, since everyone plays differently, the best way is to just continue playing and learn from your mistakes. Welcome btw.
