Consoles
Which consoles do you have at home?
What features makes this console great?
How much did you buy it for?
Why did you buy it?
What games do you have on it?
What are the best games for it?
For me it's the PS2
It has dual shock, and there are a lot of games for it.
Like Final Fantasy, Kingdom of hearts, CoD etc.

whats with all this spam on the forums?
its become really overwhelming.
im wanting the mods to approve threads before they're posted, or else we get annoying things like this.
theres like 30 threads already like this.

That's a great idea savanna. You should take it up with the mods and or serg in the idea threads.
It's not like you can't search... But then again, would you rather them necro? Hmmm... Wondering. Any ideas?

I guess that is true Blex. I forgot the golden rule.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
As much as I would love to see less spam, a lot of cool threads wouldn't have been approved. Hell, some of my favorite memories are in stupid threads. OOOOOOHHHH Idea for a new thread!!! YAY!

Yeah, the moderation of thread creation is not a road you want to go down.
Oh and...
Dreamcast
Saturn
Sega Genesis w/ Sega CD & Base Converter (plays master system games)
N64
SNES
Gamecube
PS2
DS Lite
Turbo Grafx
And while I don't have a GBA or PS1 I have games for them, I just use ps2 and DS to play them. The few xbox games I have I play on my computer (OMG HAX).

Mods are around for a reason. It may be too much power for them, but it is still a good idea. If threads were screened before they went up, we would have a cleaner forum. Cleaner forums = happier guests. Therefore, good idea. However, guests would also have a long wait to see their threads go up, and would become angrier. So yes, it is a road I want to travel thank you.
And I love old school Nintendo. Nothing like beating Super Mario Brothers for the hundredth time.

Kicking people is trip enough, imagine being able to stop a perfectly legit thread because it said something bad about someone?
It would be like LF, only worse (if that's actually possible...)

Ennnnnnh..........it can get messy in a hurry. And really, this forum isn't that clogged (lolol Gaia online lolol) and from what I've seen stuff that needs to be deleted (spam bots) generally just gets deleted. Whose to say what threads could become interesting or not? I've never been one for red tape.

An old old system.
It was made 8 years ago. New games by 3rd party companies were still being released recently in Japan.
and lol Sonic....lol.....

I have a Dreamcast, I think it was an underrated system for its time, a lot of people around me didn't even know what it was and it had some cool and fairly unique features, like the memory card with the display screen that plugs into the controller.
Oh and I also have a Nintendo, and a Wii which I just got Fire Emblem, Star wars, and Bleach for today. I'm not so sure about the Star wars controls, and haven't played much of the other two games.

I agree... Hence the absolute power quote. In all honesty though Magician, are there not some threads you wish never had started in the first place?
Not to mention y'all have enough to do.
I've never been one for red tape.
While I don't generally care for red tape either, newbies tend to need some direction. And it was still worth exploring the idea.

The Dreamcast really is the ultimate arcade game system, especially if you have the arcade stick for it. Fighters and space shooters are the best on Dreamcast. As for the memory card, some games actually had mini-games for it.

maybe a good idea would be:
when someone creates a spam thread, it should be closed, and than that person cant create another thread for a period of time.
THEN if they do it agian, the time gets longer.
and so on
until they learn!

Best system ever.

The forums are fine. Go to another large scale forum and see how they're doing, TAO forums has its share of problems, but nothing compared to other forums.
And I doubt giving mods the ability to decide whether or not threads should be made would corrupt them, there would just be a ridiculous amount of disagreements and the mods would be attacked by people saying they're corrupt.

It's just awesome!
I bought it for £400 --> with games not A TOTAL RIP OFF!
I bought it because it has awesome games for it and it is great online.
I have COD4 and more games but i'll only say COD4 because it's the best game I got.
But only get it if you have online otherwise it sucks once you play Story Mode a couple of times.
PS3:cool:!

Getting yelled at is all the direction noobs need. If they do something wrong, they get yelled at. No shitty tutorial that you are forced to go through.
I'm still angry at my parents when I discovered they had had a Nes in their closet that they had never opened, that they won at a raffle a long time ago... and then they sold it at a fundraiser for my sisters girl scout troop. At the time I was too young to realize how truly great of a lose it was. I was kinda of annoyed, but knowing what I do now I would have flipped a shit. One of the only 3 or 4 things I regret about how my parents raised me. Other than not understanding video games, they are kick ass.
