well, generally i'm not sitting around my house, alone, and suddenly feel the urge to take a picture at that very moment. of myself. alone. to send to people on the intarnets.

furthermore, if I did - I would use the timer. If cameras in the 80s had delays, I'm sure you can figure out how to use the expensive digital that mom got you.
