Yesterday, I played a game in which I used a furgon. I tend to be defensive in TAO, so i created 5 shrubs to stop my opponent's advancing knights from getting to my cleric. Knowing that his knights could just walk around this cross-shaped pattern of shrubs, i created more. I did this over and over, until there was a forest in the middle of the field that blocked his units from mine.

I spent the next 10 turns of the game randomly moving my units in my confined area surrounded by shrubs. The forest that split the playing field in half steadily grew. Eventually, the game ended in a draw; neither I nor my opponent even moving for 3 turns in a row.

It was a huge waste of time...

Well, in my opinion, you played very foolishly. The furgon is a wonderfull unit. Do not forget that you can attack shrubs, destorying them.
