To be fair, that 'bond' you speak of was just what he shared with whole of Planet Earth. Including when Freeza shot a Death Beam at Piccolo on Namek aswell.

Yeah, in the original dragonball series, he was called King Piccolo, and he was evil. Once goku defeated him, he made an egg or something that created the good piccolo (or kami?) I dunoo, It's been a LOOOONNGGGG time since I've got to watch the original series through, but I liked it even more than dragonball z, it's awesome to see goku as a little kid destroying people :D

As for goku liking ladies, once they come on to him it's all good from there, only they have to be the ones to make the moves.

Kami and piccolo are the saem being. kami came to earth from a ravaged namek. He didnt like how he bad a bad side, so he split himself into two beings. Piccolo being the bad side. Kami then created the DragonBalls, like they had on namek. If you watch GT, he supposively made another set of dragonballs (the black star dragonballs) before he split, which was why they were more powerful. Piccolo was evil throughout dragonball, he never truly changed. He may have let off a little, but was still a bad guy. When DBZ started, Raditz came to earth, seeking Kakarot (goku) b/c he ( and napa/vegeta) wanted to find all the remaining saiyans and topple freeza's empire. he comes across piccolo first, and scares the shit outta him. couple episodes later, piccolo and goku team up to fight raditz. they beat him, with the help of goku's 3 year old son, gohan. goku dies. Raditz (before he dies) reveals that vegeta is coming for the dragonballs. piccolo then starts to train gohan for this battle to be, and gohan "turns" him into a nicer person. not nice, but nicer.
PS-Teen Gohan was THE Shit. Period.

Edit: Piccolo and Kami fuse back together during the android/cell saga. This is why he got soo much more pwerful over this time. Even more powerful than Vegeta/Trunks/Goku where before they went in the hypobalic time chamber.
After this, piccolo is truly a "good guy" he no longer has a desire to fight/kill goku like he did before, he just has dominance over the kami side in his body.

Piccolo also fused with nail on namek, so this was another bolster to his "good side"

I don't know any emo person in rl, but I know plenty of people like anime, and a few that won't watch it simply because its animated and they see it as childish, when really theres more gore and blood in some animes then you'll find in the Saw movies, and people that are more twisted and psychotic then leatherface.

Thats sort of true, but if I remember correctly, the original piccolo was defeated by goku, and a new, younger piccolo was born from an egg soonafter, it wasn't the same old king piccolo.

Yes, Wolverine was in the Avengers at one point. He's not in the Ultimates, though, which is what this Avengers lineup is looking like it's shaping up to be.
The Wolverine movie, if Jehut's calculations are correct, might just spark more X-Men standalone movies like Deadpool.

That still sounds good as long as they make them good....:) I'm a huge comic book/anime nerd. DB was great back in the day, but after you watch all the series....just gets old and that whole anime series is basically the same thing over and over just with a different villain. The GT sagas were horrible, the movies were basically the only DB stuff that I really liked, and now there making this which has some stupid shit in it, cars, changing character appearence, I agree with Woody, they should just CGI this movie.
