From what I've heard from some people who've played the beta, it is actually very good, many believing that it's better than COD4. Mainly because of vehicles and some weapon variety that you can unlock, but I probably won't get the game until it goes down in price. Going to stick with Gears of War 2 this November.

This game is better than 4. Imo, Treyarch redeemed themselves with this game. Sure it's WW2 again, but it's set in Asia. Think of Call of Duty 4 awesomeness plus vehicles, more perks, some never before seen WW2 weapons, gorgeous maps and flamethrower.

COD 5 > COD 4 > COD 2 > and COD 3.

I'm sure COD 6 will be even greater.

To be fair, the Engine is from IW. So, they get credit too.

Also, Juggernaut is too strong in this game. This is just the beta but maybe they can change it.

For their upcoming games, I think that they should make a game for the future. If they can have success in WWII set games, modern set games, why not make a game that is set in the near future?

Ahh but then you see the problem becomes the Halo franchise players claiming they're just copying their game :(. But I definitely agree that COD6 should be set in the future. Played the beta as well, and I must say I was impressed. We'll see what the whole thing shapes out to be, if it has about 10-15 multiplayer maps or more I'll be very satisfied. Also bots within their game for console multiplayer would be awesome (too bad that's gone by the wayside).

And yes the shotgun is amazing (finally a game where my skills are able to be truly shown).

That would make it a weapon where your "skills" can be shown, not a game. Quite frankly if you can't use any other weapon then you don't have skills. And juggernaut in COD4 is bad enough, I can't believe they made it even worse for the new one. ;)

Juggernaut is no big deal as long as Stopping power is still its equal. Stopping power was the worst perk in COD4 as it was even more powerful than jug.

And Anti, skills are shown based on the game not the weapon. Like if I pawn with all shotguns in all games, but the shotgun is a underpowered weapon in a certain game, then the game has caused my skills not to show through. Besides I can't exhibit Rockband skills in any other game :P. (Shurtugal already pointed this out...)

Probably the worst shotgun experience I've had came in a game with Dresicos on Shadowdown. I'm standing outside the main courtyard running towards the stairs. Dres is on the upper level. He jumps off the the railing, immediately shoots, and gets a headshot on me with a shotty from about 30 yards away.

And yes the shotgun is amazing (finally a game where my skills are able to be truly shown).You should be ashamed.

I love the M14 in COD4, my 2nd favorite gun to use next to the P90. Don't see too many people use it because it takes a lot more skill to use than a machine gun, but definately a good one if your aim is good.
