I've been thinking this for a while, and I think that some gold units need stat changes because almost every gold in the game uses the exact same units in the exact same formation, the rush with dragon knights frosty scouts mud and cleric... ya that one. It gets boring.
I think these units should be bettered, if only by a little.
Beast Rider, + 10% blocking from the front, +5% from the side
Poison Wisp, + 10% armor or 5 health
Golem Ambusher, 3-5 attack range
Beserker, + 10 health and 10% blocking from the front, 5% from the side
Everything else= fine

Guys please tell me what you think I really believe that by slightly improving these four gold units, the game would become far more interesting for golds. Comments Please!

I disagree with everything except (maybe) the Beserker.
The Beast Rider can still be used effectively when armoured, if its stats are improved, then when armoured it would be a rather powerful unit. And taking into account that you can get multiple Beast Riders, it would be a little unfair on other golds if you have a lot.
Poison Wisp is fine as it is. The idea of the Wisp is to not rush it into a load of enemy units, you should use it on one or two units at a time, and use it cautiously. Therefore, there is no point to the stat upgrades.
Golem Ambusher I find incredibly annoying as it is, and if its ranged was 3-5, then it would effectively be able to hit anywhere 5 squares around it. As it is, this means that any melée units attacking the GA will not be able to get hit by it.
The Beserker, however, I find rather weak, and I think it would only effectively be used in turts when frosty whoring or something. The +10 health would open more possibilities for this unit.

Just giving my thoughts. :)

P.S. This is the longest thread I have written, and probably the longest I will ever write.
