A Briar Witch is an enraged dryad that specializes in immobilizing their target and destroying them while they are paralyzed. Fiercely beautiful, the Briar Witch's beauty is surpassed only by their rage. Surronded in a dress of living vines, the Briar Witch is an elusive and powerful foe.

HP: 48
Power: 19 Blockable.
Armor: 8
Blocking: 20 (Animation: The vines grab the offending attack blocking it.)
Movement: 4
Range: 2,single space, LoS applies.
Recovery: 2

Entangling Vines: At the beginning (before moving or attacking with the Briar Witch) of a players turn, it can choose to have the Briar Witch entangle an enemy unit up to 4 squares away. The enemy unit blocks the attack as normal (0 from the back, half from the side, full from the front). Any unit which is entangled cannot block. At the end of the Briar Witch controllers turn, the entangling vines die. If a player uses the briar witch's ability, it may not use any other unit for the duration of that players turn (so it can only attack/move the briar witch).

Not bad there Craig, but the explanation is a bit fuzzy.

So what your saying is that the briar witch can tangle an opponent up (blockable) with vines so that unit cannot block for the next turn.

"If a player uses the briar witch's ability, it may not use any other unit for the duration of that players turn"

So your saying this is like a indipendant special where this unit can ATTACK 2X in one turn?

it's a bit fuzzy

so you could do this

tangle/ move briar witch.

or if you were close enough

tangle/attack with briar witch...

right?

lol

Right. It's a unit that has two seperate attacks, one of which can be done at the beginning of your turn and has a range of 4. The other is a melee attack and is unblockable if the first attack succeded, and has normal blocking if the first attack failed.

So you can do both the situations you suggested as well as, Tangle/Attack/Move or Tangle/Move/Attack. But your first move always has to be tangle.
