STALKER

Stalkers were bred for battle, from an early age there forearms are permanently bolted with swords, they cannot remove these swords and must learn to use these artificial apendages in everyday life.
Thus they become true swordmasters rivaling any fighter in technique and ability...they also have a knack for finding opponents weak spots.

Stalker stats

HP:38
POWER:16 (18 + penalty when attacking from behind)
ARMOR: 10%
BLOCKING: 85% 42.5%
MOVEMENT:4
RANGE:1
RECOVERY:1

Special: backstab... when stalker gets behind enemy and stabs him the opponent suffers a penalty of

-2 power for 3 turns
-1 movement upon their next movement turn (effect stops once opponent has moved once.)
Also the stalkers power is increased by +2

While nimble and fast they do not hit very hard rather relying on finesse to finish opponents.

good at degrading your opponents power, reducing harm to you or your other units.

:bad:

silly me i'm still creating units....

I like the backstab ability, but I think his blocking is too high, and 4 movement I think is a bit overpowered for a unit that is meant to hit from the back. I think 3 would make it more strategic and make your opponent think about how they rotate their units, and debate whether it's worth it to block the Stalker from hitting it from the back, or making it more vulnerable to other units. And if I may say so, you could have put both of the units you just made in one thread. Would of helped. :)

with a 4 movement, hitting a unit from the back would be fairly easy in most cases, and the blocking is really high, it should be lowered. I also think the hp should be raised a little but other than that i like it.

The biggest problem bloody is that this unit can't really find a niche. The backstab ability just isn't powerful enough to make this unit a significant member of any team. The unit would suffer the same problems as the assassin, it is meant to fill in the role of a stealth attacker but the cost of mobility for durability isn't worth it most the time with the ranged scout.

I agree with the high blocking, but it isn't effective enough to increase durability. In order to backstab you will need to be behind a unit, typically a units back faces it's own side, so you'll have to either place yourself back to back, or accept the back attack from another unit. I suggest making the backstab power decrease steeper, for a short period of time, but then you'll have to look at the numbers again to balance.
