Banff had the highest stats on for the server list for a while, way back.. and then monk and allstar came in.

psh, ur so off though blud... donno if u remember u at all but i played with u back when you had your own clan called bludhoundz as well. Any ways at that time banff was the best server and could dominate GL ne day... Remember how bottle was the first to 1800 and he was 200ish above ne 1 in GL and Army? also before Nomar quit when Banff had all those netjak guys it was the best to. At that point GL was the weakest. Also Banff had darq and draq, both great players. IMO Banff rocked GL at that time.
I do remember you. I remember my first clan.
Bottle was the first to 1700 though, not 1800.
And yes I agree Banff was definitely the best at the point in time you are talking about.

Is there still justification for having multiple servers?
GL seems to be the only one with real activity. It seems there are not enough players to support 4 servers anymore.

Alot of legend greys have come out of banff, but the only way to tell if banff is the weakest is to restart the server wars.
Banff wins hands down, and i agree with shredder, we should restart the server wars with an actual tourney leader, i say all the mods go to there little mod section and plan another one........

It already happened again and GL owned both Army and Banff.
At least we came second.
A third server wars won't happen again this TAL season; next for sure.

Banff was an amazing server. From there almost the best players I can image came from there. All the legends one can hear about, actually come from Banff. It is quite astonishing to believe that when you go to Banff today and see the Lobby there is just one person, you. There is about only 1-2 games being played. I really do think that Banff had it's time and was great as everyone says, but for the past 2 years, the fading inactivity in comparison to GL and Banff has killed Banff's reputation.

I cancelled my gold on Banff the day before yesterday. I'm now a gold on GL instead. I loved Banff, it was and always will be my favorite server where I first started, but it's just too hard to get a game on there anymore.

Coming back to the game this is relatively sad. I remember when The Elite, KOTR and Phoenix Reborne were masters of their respective servers. (Then the creation and eventual death of BG, the invasion of netjak, creation of SI, yada yada.) All three servers had their moments of being too full.
To see a server languish isn't fun. They really should merge the servers in some meaningful way. Oh, and legends doesn't exist. :*ph34r2:

Banff is the best all time. I dunno if many of you remember the Rev Tournament of Champions. Banff completely dominated that thing. Me, Darque, Draquist, Nads, and Office_Shredder were the Final Five out of all the TAO Gold Members, and we all hailed from Banff.
Actually, in 2003-2004 Army had the best players. If you deny that, then you weren't on army in 2003-2004.
Aside from Si, _OUTKAST_ will always be the clan I respected most. When I got to Army, I was pretty cocky. Once I played Snarr (lost), Stiltz (draw), and Kyx (lost), I was crazy humble. Anarchy1/Codeman (won) was great from TDP, and Pancho54 (lost) impressed me too. Then you had theburning and wolfman.
I'd have to agree from that time period that the top tier Army golds were the best. It was the drop in competition that slowly caused me to be less and less active. But historically, I gotsta give the edge to Banff.
Plus, my opinion matters most cuz I was the first one to reply to TimeStoppa, sooooo :P :D

Banff actually held about 10 players all of yesterday, 20 at its prime time.
If we can get a few things going, and a few more gold members, Banff will be an all right place to play. No where close to GL for a while, but far better than Army.

Since I've started playing again army seems to be the worse, it's practically dead or full of noobs. Banff is alright, a decent amount of members but few golds. Great Lakes seems to be the most active with good amount of grey and gold.

Seriously, unless you're on a cell phone, just type "and." Also, I'd say because of the gray might over there, they're the strongest server. However, the dual scouts make it a bit closer.

I've played in both places, and i enjoy playing on FPS more.
Therefor, in my opinion, FPS > Legends
GL is the strongest server there is.

I like playing grey, and its easier to get grey games on GL.

not sure if you noticed but legends is dead.. and when it was up it had sooo many lagging problems
Any ways, with four servers on fps they just barely tops out out with 44 players..while legends has before the drop has bout 22 on average and during the drop has bout bout 40.

That is the lamest argument I've ever heard. I don't think Legenders actually came here because they found FPS fun, but more like their server screwed up. The least we could do is give them a warm welcome while they're here, instead of answering like that...
Banff has been the weakest server in the past 2 years.

*shrug* these days, probably not. Noobs would sign up for it, sure, but that wouldn't last long, and game popularity would actually slow a bit. Because if the noobs sign up on GL, they'll actually go into a semi-populated server, and have a higher chance of enjoying the game.
