Last time I was in Banff..
erm..i don't remember the last time i was on there..i think it was last semester of freshman yr. Much like my freshman year, everybody was talking..they did nothing but chat. Most of the people didn't do what they were expected to be doing, so I moved. I didn't actually physically move to another house, but I did start playing in GL, Army, and Revvy..Most of the time i would be at Army because I can actually ask and battle someone. In banff, i ask who'd like to battle and either a gold or practically noone answers (not that i don't like fighting golds; 'cause I do), and it pisses me off a little.
So to answer your Q if Banff is the lamest server..
the answer is no..because my mom's there (kind of..sorta)

Neither GL, Banff or Army are 'good' to play right now, in my opinion. But, if I were to play on one of the 3, it would be GL. You get a lot more games there, and the stat requirement to get ranked is near to the 1400's, which could mean people play there just a bit more.

Regarding the question: is banff the weakest server? I'd say so. Having 10-12 people that are actually good in that server do not make up for the rest of the stat-whores and people that actually play there.

The best player in Banff is probably bludz, I don't see anyone more solid than him right now in Banff, even if he's not in his prime he's still really good. :)

If you want to get better at TAO fast then go to Great Lakes. This was my original server until I switched to Banff. Armageddon is just too easy to even do anything about. Banff has good greys and good golds like bludz and all the old classics everyone knows, while GL has Mag, Gryph.. etc. Most of my friends are from GL. =)

Well... even if s/he he was haxed, it's not meant for him/her to keep the stats. Mag got haxed to 2008, and made sure he had his original stats. I'm not sure if it's hax, because it looks a lot more like boosting.

I am not going to go by the story, "I got haxed, but they boosted me instead of dropping my stats". We were talking about it in the netcave, and we think the reason banff has gone to crap is because all the major clans that were in authority have left or gone inactive. When clans go inactive good players leave. I have nothing against Si or XF or any other clan, but there pretty much inactive. You'd be lucky to see 3 people in Si or NJ on at one time. I guess we can call them noobs and noob clans are running the server. With all that Inyuasha, naruto, DBZ bull crap that everyones talking about. What we were thinking was if we got some big clans back into authority, and good players started getting golds and playing there. Then there would be competition and other big clans and good golds would come to that server more often. You know spark some competition or something. Instead of avoiding it and letting the cybers and lobby whores have it. Just a thought...

SI has actually been doing very well on banff lately. I dont see that many of them on all the time, but activity is at a decent level. Silent Battalion players are also pretty active even if most of them arent even 1400, they are still on playing. Granted activity levels have been much higher in the past.

GL hasnt been really active from what ive seen either. Army is active because of the sponsor wars. Diabolical Demons, Netjak.com, and Absolution are all very active, at least by army standards. Brutality was active before they joined Absol. Cherry Top Saints is also super active and ive heard some other clans are trying out army again as well.
If we had the money Absolution would try to get a banff branch running.

If you all want Banff to be active though, stop posting and start playing, every minute you spend on the forums is one that could be spent increasing banff's activity.

People here really talk about stuff they don't know. I am on all 4 servers, and have a gold there, I can pretty much tell you what I see.

GL- They have at least 15 accounts on the 1450-1550 status, not to mention that from those 15 accounts, like 10 play, and about 3-4 1600+ play, which is actually something pretty good to mention. GL has right now it's stat record at 1400, and everyone there plays if you login at a good time. Not to mention you will get decent stats for a good game.

Banff- A server flooded with lobby whores, and a couple of players with 1400 stats, but that's about it. Banff doesn't have people with absurd stats because no one there plays, so the maximum stats that people can actually get there is minimal. No one wants to move to Banff, because frankly there's no one to play there unless it's SI or Silent Batallion, but once again I being in SI, facing Silent Batallion members, all neg me because "I'm going to rape them".

Army- Possibly the worst server ever, everyone there whores their stats excluding The Professor and Isaac. Oh, and Cuathon... good people with fair activity there? When you say this you refer to you, justice, isaac and Prof? Well... that's sad, because I don't ever see you play on any of your high accounts there, as well as Prof or Justice. Anyway, Army sucks, no one from the 1100-1400 range will play you there because they're "too scared to lose stats".

i played elim and prof on savage garden this week, lost to elim, beat prof with my super pyro of immortality. ive been playing on a 1400 recently which is about in the middle of my accounts. if my account is higher than yours, but you want me to use savage, bite me. i managed to get like 15 accounts to 1400-1500 not my fault you cant even do it with 1.

btw other people in my clan that play include the bored king and jdi leader, both 1400. and they play prof, who according to you, doesnt play.

Friday was certainly a glorious day for Banff. Quite amazing, Banff has been doing so sucky, that they have caught up Revelations in the stat-limit as to how much you need to be ranked!
