This oversight on Veritas.’s part is just one way moderators make ill informed decisions when basing them on opinion. I have no serious complaints against the moderator known as Veritas. I am saying that while guided by good intentions a human being simply made a mistake and it needs to be corrected. Admitting to a mistake would not kill you but I guess that would require a little maturity."

My intention in digging up this old thread was to demonstrate how even though I clearly proved my case a year ago, through a logical progression of arguments a lot of you still couldn't stop kissing Meat's ass. That is fine, I will now talk about what happened last night ALL all I ask is that you read what i have to say and just take a moment to consider it. I know saying anything bad about a mod doesn't make me the most popular guy around here but I really want you to give me a chance here. If after reading it you still think there was no abuse then so be it.

A day before yesterday Zeus came on I asked him a question about being able to kick people with i's and l's in their name. He answered. Then I joined a game. After I was finished I came back to the lobby and someone informed me that Zeus was gunning for me. Apparently a grey with a bunch of i's and l's as their name came in after I asked the question and started trolling hardcore. Zeus couldn't kick and called for back up. Uni came in an could not kick this individual as well. The person kept changing their name and
coming in and eventually the Mods just left. Zeus automatically assumed that it was me because i asked him about his ability to kick these kinds of names and if he bothered to check the 6th floor he would have seen that it wasn't me. I first thought it was funny that he wanted me deleted with no real evidence that I did anything but then soon realized that his lack of judgment could easily get me deleted. So I left and came back on my grey Negative Zero. I saw him talking to another mod about wanting to get my gold account deleted and he was basically told that he couldn't do it based on what he had seen. He was instructed to just boot the grey user who kept coming on by their IP if I am not mistaken. When i logged back in with my gold I asked him about it and he denied the whole thing. He said he didn't know what I was talking about and he never wanted me deleted, not realizing I saw him say it while I was on my grey. Lying about something as inconsequential as this really isn't a big deal at all but I was more concerned with the fact that he was lying about something so stupid. If a mod lies about something that really didn't make him look bad either way, what else would he lie about?


Now last night I was in the lobby minding my own business listening to my music. Some grey had the number "69" in their name. Uni told them to change it. Now this is when TPB asked Uni why he had to change his name. And here is where I am hesitant to say this but I hope that as much as you people hate me you won't be immature about this. TPB is a great guy and he is a good soul but he is mildly mentally challenged. I met him on Counter Strike Source and introduced him to this game. Since their are no microphones on TAO you really cant hear his voice and they way he talks. Seeing him type an observer might surmise that he is immature. Anyway, TPB, like I said, is a good guy but he doesn't get sarcasm and misinterprets social cues. A lot of times he will have misunderstandings with people and it will seem like he is just being a dumbass. He didn't understand the significance of the
number "69" but none the less it is just a number. While it has taken on the meaning of a sexual act, having those two numbers in your name in no way violates the TAO TOS. Then there was a grey who's name was something to the effect of "lesbian". When Uni instructed this person to change their name they responded "I am not ashamed of who I am" Uni then spoke to this individual in the condescending manor that she is so used to. This person was not soliciting for a a cyber session and didn't even say anything. I am
pretty sure that you cant simply ban someone due to their sexual orientation just as you wouldn't be able to ban someone due to their race or ethnicity. Now if you are thinking that it has nothing to do with sexual orientation and just the fact that the name was somehow offensive,(You would also think someone with name African American is offensive then) then why was there someone in the lobby named "Dan Straight" and nothing was done to him even after repeated requests for games with girls? When TPB questioned Uni about all this Uni started to insult him. Now I realize that TPB comes off as immature and can seem aggressive at times but the amount of crap coming from Uni was in no way warranted. Uni asked TPB where he was from and when he responded Uni told him to go find a moose and hump it. It was obvious that Uni was looking for an excuse to kick TPB and it was even more obvious that Uni was trying to rile him up so that he would do something. She provoked him repeatedly and I saw this. I told him to chill and to just let Uni's comments go. Uni, as intelligent as one would have to be to push the screws on someone that is slightly retarded, then said "TPB are you Slick's pet? What tricks can you do TPB? Sit. Rollover. Sit. Good Boy" I messaged him on Steam and told him to leave but it was too late Uni got to him. Now I know Uni didn’t just outright abuse her power. She was smart about it and attacked TPB until he said something back, giving her a semi-legitimate excuse to have Meat delete him. Meat said that he had no idea that there was an exchange between TPB and Uni and that he was coincidentally deleted for something else. Meat later then changed that story saying that he was informed of the exchange between TPB and Uni. I wonder what story he is going to come up this time around, but I am sure it will be backed
up by his mod buddies.

Uni, a moderator, maliciously baited this poor kid and egged him on until he lost his cool and said something that got him deleted. This poor kid doesn't
go out and socialize or anything. He muddles through his day at school, constantly being depressed and the only thing he ever looks forward to are his games when he comes home. He can make friends online and for the most part people won't judge him like they would in a real social setting. These games mean more to him than anyone in here. He doesn't work but saves up Birthday money to buy his games. Paying the $5.00 monthly maybe be less then pocket change to most of us but to him it is an investment. Losing that for even just one month hurts him. Even after it was all said and done he still does not understand what had happened. He can't comprehend that Uni made him lose his cool and coordinated with meat to have him deleted. Maybe if Uni was familiar with TPB's circumstances she wouldn't have done what she did but she still abused her power. I know Uni has been a respectable player for some time now and maybe you guys feel that being human, a screw up here and there is acceptable. All I ask is that she takes responsibility and admits she may have done something wrong. I seriously doubt that will be the case however.

And it doesn't stop there. Uni then decided that she was going to bait me. After telling me that I had a small penis and that I can't talk to girls in real life I laughed it off. (Seeing as how Uni probably never meet a man over 5 feet tall.) When that didn't work Uni called in reinforcements. I could tell that she wanted to kick me and just needed an excuse. My suspicions were confirmed by Uni when she stated that she wanted to kick me but I didn't break the rules yet. When I confronted her about that she then turned it around and said how it shows she is a good Mod for not kicking me even though she wanted to. The spin zone definitely starts here. Uni even went as far as to tell me that I couldn't play with a grey. When I asked what would happen if I did she responded something to the effect of do it and find out. Uni's attempts to bait me just like she did TPB failed. I realize that in the game I was pretty upset about the whole thing and was just too angry to articulate my thoughts. I really don’t care if Uni constantly starts stuff with me I was just pissed off at what she did to TPB that’s all. Thanks for listening.

Anyway, Zeus was able to make an understandable conclusion to you being the spammer... it's not exactly a question that's common. It's like someone asking about Proxies. At some point, Zeus and I got into battle to talk privately. I wasn't in the lobby for a good 10 minutes or so when the screenshots were taken by several greys. Again, Zeus, another mod, can corroborate this information. TPB cursed in the lobby, with no mod in it, was warned by golds or greys (its even in the s/s, I believe), and continued. Zeus got the s/s just before I did, confirmed it, and I kicked him. Whatever cursing he was doing had nothing to do with me. I'll have Zeus post the s/s to prove these things, including the fact that neither of us were in the lobby at the time.

Furthermore, TPB's response to being kicked was to go to Revelations and then curse off the first mod he found.

Less than 17 cents per day, to be exact (not that I've ever paid for this game). We remove people who break the rules, regardless of all other factors.

You can blame me all you'd like, but the s/s will show I wasn't even there, and ultimately, he (and you) needs to take responsibility for the consequences of his own actions.

I happened to witness a good hour of this last night, and for one thing every five minutes you said "s/s", a lot of times it didn't make any sense to take them, plus when you said something about PMing your s/s (plural) to some one else who will post this thread on the forum and whine for you. TPB is a great guy and he is a good soul but he is mildly mentally challenged. I met him on Counter Strike Source and introduced him to this game. Since their are no microphones on TAO you really cant hear his voice and they way he talks. Seeing him type an observer might surmise that he is immature. Anyway, TPB, like I said, is a good guy but he doesn't get sarcasm and misinterprets social cues. A lot of times he will have misunderstandings with people and it will seem like he is just being a dumbass.

While that may affect how we treat him in further instances, he is not exempt from the rules.

He didn't understand the significance of the
number "69" but none the less it is just a number. While it has taken on the meaning of a sexual act, having those two numbers in your name in no way violates the TAO TOS. Then there was a grey who's name was something to the effect of "lesbian". When Uni instructed this person to change their name they responded "I am not ashamed of who I am" Uni then spoke to this individual in the condescending manor that she is so used to. This person was not soliciting for a a cyber session and didn't even say anything. I am

It was obvious that Uni was looking for an excuse to kick TPB and it was even more obvious that Uni was trying to rile him up so that he would do something. She provoked him repeatedly and I saw this. I told him to chill and to just let Uni's comments go.

We dont need an excuse to kick someone being volatile. Often we will respond to people who act stupid by actually calling them stupid, you're right. Though that isn't the nicest way to inform them that their behavior is not okay, it is affective. Bringing up TPB's mental state will now will not excuse his previous actions. You're just playing the pity card, and it's rather sad.

I've kicked and warned TPB for his actions twice in the past. The fact that he was kicked a third time for the same reasons that he had been kicked before resulted in his deletion. Nothing short of standard protocol, there. TPB was put on the deletion list far before I started talking to you, by the way.

My story this time around is no different than it was yesterday afternoon or yesterday evening. Losing that for even just one month hurts him. Even after it was all said and done he still does not understand what had happened.

For someone that's mentally challenged, he certainly hushed up and understood what was being said to him when I warned him personally. Yet he has the wherewithal to understand that he could misbehave when no mods are around.

I'm not going to validate or not validate the comment of his mental state--personally I think you made it up but I have no proof of that. Just proof that you "made up a lot of it." However, mental state aside: if he can understand the warnings when I'm online, he can understand them when I'm offline.

So even if your story is true, or even if you made it up entirely: It makes no ounce of difference. You still don't understand 75% of what's been explained to you, you still have selective hearing (or vision?) on what you choose to listen to, you're still a troll, and you still have nothing to back your claim of "mod abuse."

I read ur thread, and at first was seeign that maybe u had some legitimate points. But as the thread went on, those points quickly detiororated. Here's why, and I hope u understand that I am not trying to insult u, but offer some advice.

1. Bringing up TPB's personal issues in life was not right. It did nothing to help ur argument, and had nothing to with u. It let alot of people know things about him that is his business, not urs. Even if he wouldnt mind it, I think u should have left it out.

2. Ur lack of s/s's really hurts ur argument. U were on all night with these mods, and had numerous opportunities to s/s. You were spending a lot of time trying to convince others that you were right in ur arguments in the lobby, and a thread like this seemed inevitable from u due to the lengthy of ur convo/arguments with mods last night, and the fire it obviously stirred in u, so u should have s/s'd.

3. No matter how valid ur points in this thread might have been, and no matter how much you would have liked ppl to read it thoroughly and to give ur side a chance, u turned ppl off and lost all credibility with ur insults to numerous posters. regardless if someone is insulting u, ur point of this thread was ur points, not how witty u could be in replying to their weak insults. You would do well, and so would many, to get into flamefests when ur arent trying to make a huge point that u truly want others to buy into.

Your best bet at this point, is to let it go. You wont win this argument, and its a waste of ur energy and efforts, no matter how much u believe in what u said. Try to get back to enjoying the game, and concentrating on whatever else is important to u.

Some of them are very well supported, but without a s/s, your words are as good as nothing, Slick. Also, I would suggest you to try to avoid cursing to mods in forums. No, but I'd feel a little better knowing that I am slowly training someone to use proof in their arguments. (It comes in handy pretty much your entire life. Getting out of contracts, filing lawsuits, insurance claims, rental car returns etc.)
