you might get some more interest if you showed that said tournament was going to be an organized one. Showing the rules for it would be a nice start.
ex:
Grey, Gold, or any?
Drops?
what kind of matches? (1, best of 3, etc.)
how opponents being first selected?


I'm surpirsed ppl already agreed to joing a tournament where they didn't know anything about it (and hope they feel foolish for it)

The easiest tournaments to organize are the ones that don't span an entire server, try starting smaller with a clan tournament. I'm working with one of those and THAT'S even difficult. I don't see this being feasible in the near future.
