The Banff Race, and the Weekly ODT

Okay, we've already had a lot of success "reviving" Banff with these One Day Tournaments, so we have decided to open the offical weekly ODT schedule.
We'll only be planning these tournaments two weeks in advance so that we can adjust the schedule to fit more people as the season continues.

On January 23, at 4:00 pm Pacific Coast Time we'll be starting the Banff Stat Race and having the first ODT of this Banff season. At the end of the Banff season whoever has won the most tournaments will also get a long term gold account on Banff.

If you'd like to also help host a tournament just pm me and I'll add you to the list. It only takes a few hours. First tournament is January 23, 4:00 pm Pacific Coast time, We'll mix the styles and rules up every week, but this one will be a dropless grey tournament.

Banff Race
As you have noticed we'll be promoting players to stay on banff, by having a stat race to 1403. (I just like that number...) We will only have this if we have 15+ people entered in this.

If you would like to enter write the name of a grey or gold account that has 750 stats on banff, and we'll start the race at exactly 4:00 pm Pacific Coast time on January 23. You can do this in any style you want, grey, freestyle, or turtle, but if your using a gold units dont jump greys...

Winner of the stat race will get a long term gold account on banff + any bragging right. This is just for fun, so not everyone has to be in it to win it. Just see if you can finish the race and we'll add your name to the list of people that completed the challenge.

We will need everyone's help to moniter the race so there is no cheating. If any people of banff, other contestants, or mods catch someone cheating please take a couple screen shots and post them in this thread so we can have that person eliminated from this tournament. Grey jumping is CHEATING.

Its come to my attention that I was very clear on weither or not you can use a gold account.

You can do this race in any style you want. Grey, freestyle, and turtle, but if your using gold units make sure your playing gold players... If anyone is caught with gold units jumping greys that will be considered cheating and they will be booted from the tournament.

This way everyone can play there best style as long as we race to 1403, with no cheating.

Well, although I won't actually be in the race, I'll be looking specifically for cheaters. Also, since I don't jump anyone at all, any grays that want to take a large chance in their stats can fight me. I won't care, but I show no mercy. Be aware of that, and keep your stats in mind. (I also invite golds to fight me as well. Usually, I'm an easy opponent, but I might surprise you.)

I doubt any ODTs that are not held on rev will get TAL approval. To get TAL approval a tournament has to be open to all golds, not just people with golds on Banff.

Well, we had a decent turnout today for the Tournament.

Our 3 finalists were Jae19 (gold is practice on Banff) Twilight Dragon and Flirt the turt (P-fill)

Our round robin final started with Jae vs P-fill, and P-fill won
then Jae played TD, and TD won
It came down to TD vs P-fill for the final event for the one day trophy, and in a tightly contested battle that came down to chanty vs chanty, P-fill pulled off the win.

Well I'm taking over doing this since Shredder has no time for TAO now, but I'd like to keep this going. If anyone wants to help out PM me or let me know in here. I'm also going to change how the winners works into a point system between 1, 2 and 3 place finishers, Whoever finishes 1st over all through the banff season will still get a gold account. I'm not sure If I'll do the stat race, unless we get some more ppl to join in.
