Welcome to RGL February, second month under the new system. Almost everything will stay the same with a few additions to written rules.

NEW Rule Changes
1) Going undefeated in any league will result in a bonus of 3 to your accumulated TAL Points.

2) Just because it's still only mid-way through the month does not mean that you can avoid playing your opponent. If you two catch eachother online and you don't have a valid reason for not playing them - I will force a match. PLEASE don't make me have to do this, just get your damn games in.

3) The burden of proof in walkover wins is on you as the player. You must send in private messages, visitor messages, AIM/MSN chat logs, screenshots, etc... Just something that proves that you tried in good faith to get this game in, and your opponent either avoided it or didn't care.

Older Rule Changes
* If you prearrange a time to play your opponent, and miss it, your opponent can claim the win by walkover. This only applies after missing a 2nd match. Also, failure to communicate with your opponent may result to you losing your matchup, as well as being disqualified from the League. Walkover results are scored 3-0 to the person who showed up.

* YOU MUST CLAIM A WIN BY WALKOVER IF YOU WISH IT TO COUNT! (And obviously provide proof)

* Points are NOT awarded to game that haven't been completed, however deliberately dodging your opponent OR by someone withdrawing for a single month will result in a win by walkover.

* My word is final. If there are any complaints, keep them out of this thread by contacting me directly, quoting the posts referenced.

3rd: 3 TAL
4th: 1 TAL

League 2:

1st: 6 TAL
2nd: 3 TAL
3rd: 1 TAL

Leagues 3 and below(if we expand to a fourth at any point):

1st: 4TAL
2nd: 2TAL
3rd: 1TAL

Games must be completed BY January 30th. Any games scheduled on or after that date are acceptable IF setup via Private Message with an attached copy to myself, so I can plan ahead.

Please post battle reports in something resembling the following format:

League x Leage # is important, makes my job a hell of alot easier.

Winner: Player 1/2 (or draw, as applicable)
Screenshot: If your opponent does not confirm your victory, you will need to post the screenshot.
Comments: Anything you wish to say about the match

Failure to do so may result in your match not being recorded correctly or on time, and will seriously put a Klown into an angry mood :dry:. Please follow the format. It makes fishing out results alot easier. Seriously, post the League you're in. Please!!! Thanks.

Guys, I've pulled out the inactive people that were causing issues last month. If they want to rejoin they'll have to contact me and speak to me before I let them in again. Also, League 1 has expanded it's competetition with the addition of an extra player as compared to last round. Have fun.

See the "New" Rules, they're not new but now they're in black and white, so there will be no debate.

EDIT: I forgot to take out Boreal, he isn't participating in RGL February. If anyone else asked to be taken out and is still on there, let me know.

Actually you raise a good question even though the intention behind your question was wrong. Games that were in red were to count as tie breakers, so if Deto beats you and you guys tie, you have the tiebreaker from points, he has the tiebreaker from beating you.

It's an example... froob. Either way, you get my point. I lost to Shinok and maybe Deto. Both advanced to League 2, which means they were both good loses. But let's say Deto lost to Reymo and elim. In that case, Deto shouldn't pass because he lost to someone in League 2 and 3 currently. Maybe that's a way for solving out, I dunno. I haven't checked the players Deto lost to. But I did see him lose to Shinny too....

Comments: We decided to play dropless grey. I must admit my first moves were pretty dumb since I'm more used to free/turt now, so I pretty much let him get a knight through my entire defense. Nevertheless, I was able to pull a sassy and a couple of knights, which actually did more damage. I had some luck towards the end, but I think I would've still won without it. I guess it was fair that he had some luck come back from this and last game and beat me. Comments: He had some pretty good setup advantage that allowed him to pyro my units being far away from cleric. I got to admit that the luck I had was pretty good, but I think that the fact he had his pyro/DSM, mud, knight, scout too close to my units was a lot better than the luck I had. It came down to a 51% shot where if I hit his scout, I'd win. He blocked, but it in the end it was fair considering his crap-ass luck earlier. Gg IROK, I had fun.

Description: He used the same form as Lieu, and played the match phenomenally. After a misclick that would've won me the game without question (and I let him take it back) the karma gods looked nicely on me, as I got a scout side block, which kept me ahead, as it allowed me to take his frost. A knight side hit that killed my knight made it close again, but once again the karma gods were looking out for me, as I hit the 39% knight side hit I needed. Was my 36 HP knight against his full scout from there, and the side hit won it for me.

Great game deto. Sorry about the luck.

Comments: His dsm/pyro spread vs my anti opp side, luck started in like mid of game by him getting a dsm frontal and rethreating his dsm saving it from getting killed. I went offensive and took his cleric, I got a lucky fronta block with my scout but it was pointless cause he was pretty much dead then I took his dragon, and IROK was working on my dragon he hit a 45% frontal to kill it. Then he rushed in with his 2 knights, and he still had a 26 scout vs my knight, scout, frost and cleric. I thought I had it won from there but while he got my knight to 14 hp, I had his scout down to 14 hp. I missclicked and I thank IROK for letting me take that missclick back cause that would been the game, almost at the end. Regardless that wasn't enough cause then his scout side blocked from getting killed and preventing me from frost whoring him cause that would have been the game for me if it hit, then I healed my knight to 3 turns from getting killed. Then again I still had a chance, he hits a 39 side hit on my knight to kill it. That pretty much sealed the deal. At the end he side hit my scout when his knight was 8 hp. I needed a block and a hit to win >.<. /sight

Well, luck is part of the game. I think everyone who plays this knows that, same goes for setup dis/advantages. What really matters is if you're able to capitalize with the luck or advantage, the rest is garbage. ;)

Comments: Anti vs Anti. I went on offense and he played a strong defense. I got some luck which allowed me to keep pressuring. I eventually got the cleric, DT, mud, and severely hurt his frost. However, he got scout, mud, DT in exchange. I fell back on defense but with my small number of units and his 2 scouts I couldn't stop him from taking my cleric and frost. Normally I would get a lot of pieces in exchange for this but he also got pretty amazing luck (like 1% scout blocks). It's all good though, great game Lieu.

Comments: Anti vs. Anti, opp sides. Playing with a hungover isn't easy, but playing a guy skilled with some pretty bad luck at starts is harder. His flanking was pretty good, and he nearly pinned me down all my units to my base. In his flanking he was able to get really good trades, but failed to kill my frost, which would be one of the key units to win this. Once I started to flank him due to his luck of units and got too many blocks. In the end I won by 2 knights, scout and a frost, but it would've been closer had my luck not been so ridiculous towards the end. Gg though Vin. :)

Description: 2 DSM forms, and he got first turn. My DSM blocked a frontal, and I blocked off my cleric. He then burned me and retreated, and got a second burn, taking my pyro and scout, but I got his pyro and scout in exchange. He took my mud next turn, and I got his for my DSM. He moved in on my cleric, and I managed to hold him off for a bit, but he got a side hit on my knight with + blocking for the kill, which proved to be the most important part of the match. Luck tilted towards him a little, but not enough to where it was one of those crazy matches. Most of the damage that was put in the game was unblockable.

I killed his knights before he killed mine, I finished 2 of them with my dragon, his mistake was going for my dragon instead of finishing off my 12 hp knight and 10 hp knight. So it ended up dragon vs dragon, and I killed his when mine was 6 hp. Good game man.

I have seen ol' time on these forums plenty, and I sent him 2 visitor messages, saying i'm on rev lets play our rgl game and he never got on and played me each time, and he HAS NOT even replied back to me at all.
I don't know what this is about but I'd say he is avoiding me also.

Comments: My anti vs his dsm rush, I got the side of his dsm and I had first turn, I went for his dsm and it blocked, he burned my scout, mud and knight. Then I took pretty much all his range, we both got 2 scout side blocks each. I tried to frost whored him since he had no scouts or mud but his dragon pretty much got all my units to very low HP. So I couldn't build a wall of knights protecting my frost and he eventually killed him. It was 3 knights, scout, dragon and frost vs his 3 knights and dragon. Comments: Ah, noobie tried to clericless bomb me but I used a dsm rush this time and got second turn, so I burned his dsm, mud and knight with my dsm and rethreated :). If he had second turn, or his dsm would have blocked, I'd probablly have been toasted.

comments: fun game, he had a pyro/dsm rush vs my anti
I got his dsm before he could burn with the pyro, so i saved health.
Ended only losing my knight for his scout and dsm.
I just kept taking out units as fast as possible while he took my cleric.
Got a little luck in the end game, but it wasn't anything game changing.
It was my 8, 50 knights & 43ish DT vs his scout and cleric.
THe most luck was that i had just got his knight on a 30% frontal.
