I'm central time, and usually available after 9pm on weekdays (except Tuesday). If you want, find me on AIM and we can work out the details.
Monday and Wednesday I'm at school all day, so those days are no good. Tuesday is doable if we can't make anything else work, but would be really inconvenient, so let's look at the other days.

Thursday: I work during the day, I could play you in the evening. 7 PM - 1 AM my time.
Friday: I work in the evening until 10-ish. I could play during the day, until about 3 PM, or in the evening from 11 PM - 1 AM.
Saturday: Pretty much the same deal as Friday.
Sunday: I could play between 2 PM and 3:30-ish.

My first choices would be to play on Friday or Saturday.

Also, I really don't want to see an Ubah repeat, so before we even start, I'd like to make a deal with you. I'm going to try to record the game with hypercam (assuming it doesn't mess up my computer too much). If either of us dc, I should be able to get all the info for our units. Would you agree to reset from where we left off, rather than start over again or something like that? If there is a blocking issue or something that's hard to reset, I'm completely in favor of the person that didn't dc getting the margin of error in his favor, but I'd like us to reset as close as we can.

We've played I don't know, four or five games. We have never had a game that wasn't ridiculously close and insanely challenging. Let's make this one a game for the ages. I look forward to it. :)

Description: Opp side game, both of us using second corners. I went at him with 2 scouts, leaving the rest of my guys at home (really only attacked with the one though) while he came all out on me. He went after my cleric, but made an error by not attacking my cleric a turn earlier allowing me to get a heal in (something he did not) and he decided to continue his all-out attack.

Using my wisp/mud/frost I was able to take both of his scouts, and do some good damage on his knight. Became my 32 HP scout (stoned, full knight, and DT (stoned) with I think 44 HP. I took his DT a couple turns later as he tried to frosty whore me into losing my scout, but I managed to fend it off easily.

well it was a game of luck for sure.. I had a crucial side DT block, as he had 2 side DT blocks as well as a life saving side scout block. I also had a side knight block.

so i ended up d/c'ing with a 50 knight and 40 scout vs his 17 dt 29 knight and 40 scout...

i would have killed his DT next turn and he probably would have used his knight vs mine, so 33 knight and 40 scout vs his 29 knight and 40 scout....pretty much meaning it would have been luck, but i think i had a slight advantage.

I do apologize in advance for the lack of times, but I actually have to hike almost two kilometers through a jungle to get to a cement hut where they have a cell phone hookup to play. That said, you can tell I'm psyched enough about this, haha. Hopefully we can fit something into those times. The area I'm in is a bit religious and backwards, so everyone is on the farms or at religious stuff in the morning (morning here, night for zeus). After than that i felt so freaking dumb that i just moved withouth thinking and i gave him a free win.

Also, I really don't want to see an Ubah repeat, so before we even start, I'd like to make a deal with you. Obviously when i lose the guy who beats me did something for it. If he really made good moves, i say it. I can sound like an ass by being honest actually. But i really lost that game. I had it won till the end, and i just needed to retreat for a sure win. A basic point that every player with a decent experience knows it was the right thing to do in that momment. I was anxious and i could not think right, my fault. He took the advantage of that mistake. I can give him credit for that. But i dont like to remark the obvious.

Btw, i will not spam this thread anymore, arguing if i am a good sport or not. Afterall, we all know i am not xd. But hey!, i am working on it.

No. I'm not. Sorry. I'm not trying to question your character. But your comments fall on really worn ears. You're the third game I've had in the last week against a contemporary "power house" type of player who most people consider elite. All 3 of you are very good (and, ironically, all 3 of you are Legenders--by my standards).

And, after every game that I had with each of you, and it was within 2 units for each game, the person exited out of the game saying "OMG!!11! I played horribly!" Which is basically a cop-out way of saying "I'm so much better than you that I played badly and still beat you..." instead of actually being able to admit other people doing well.

I seem to recall giving people who gave me close games, regardless of the victor, a lot of praise for their abilities and thanks for the fun game (I still do with the 2 people I play still--AlabamaBoy and The Butcher). But it seems now, people are more intent on building themselves up, no matter how close or even the game may be. When in fact, those are just low-end excuses that didn't used to exist in this game. And they're pretty lame. And pretty unsportsman.

So I'm not trying to call you specifically unsportsman, but rather that a lot of people's after game attitudes have gone pretty far south since 3 years ago. It's just interesting to see. Pet peeve, I suppose.

We both played well, and I did much better than I really thought I would...
He went on offense pretty quickly, and I had to go on hardcore defense... The blocking was in my favor for the majority of the game, and I needed it... A little more may have won it for me, but he certainly outplayed me... At the end I made a mistake which allowed him to safely freeze my LW, and while he probably would have had me regardless of that mistake, that mistake is what made me realize it was over.

I found this a couple of pages back. I was prolly on TAO forums since yesterday because I never logged off, but in game I doubt I was on. I never get to my office (the only place where I play) that early. Note that your post was at 9:21am Eastern Time. The earliest I always get here is 10:00am ET and that is only on a very busy day.

Hm.. i dont know whats going on with you people. But you remark just that sentence and not the whole post. Actually *I lost it, he did not won it*, its a common expression, in spanish at least, and it means you did everything well till one point where your opponent did not put any pressure but you just did a stupid mistake. Its like an unforced error in Tennis.

I did not say he did not make anything to counter me many times before. But in one particular move i gave him the whole game. It was clair enough to comment it. Its not like i am insulting his family or his integrity. It was a fact, and i repeat its a common expression in soccer and tennis.

And to say i should change the way i act, its kinda hypocrit. But i wont judge you. I got my bad momments when i am pissed about losing or its a mix of real life and this virtual world, stil... you would never know. Just dont pretend you can change virtual behaviors xd.
