It wasn't ridiculously high if everyone would've played like almost everyone did. Bad thing is that these tourneys don't work exactly like a Soccer World Cup or NFL where everyone plays all the games required or the most they can. I should've assumed that not everyone would be playing more than 10 games, which was a huge failure. But the fact at least 7-10 dropped off, and that 2-3 of the guys from High Class aren't playing is simply just too harsh for this tournament.

Had it been 56 people as it was, everyone would've had a chance at 86 points. 40/86 points is a reasonable quantity. But then again, not everyone played, and some dropped off which made it near to 60's, and with some folks not playing more like 50's. So if you lost a game to a High Class you lost your chance of getting 3 points that would've been key to the tournament.

I'm hoping that if I ever do again an All-To-All tournament people can understand that this tourney is not about losing 20 times. This tournament's real purpose was that people who were noobs at a certain style could actually play this style enough against good and bad players so they could actually learn to play this style well by the end of the tournament. Unfortunately, people like Shurtugal and Elven let go of that point, my objective, and decided that losing was just worse than learning...

The last I can say is that I'm glad that people like Ragnarth and I were able to get our grey game back, which was the real purpose.

Wednesday morning Lieutenant will take the top 8 players and continue this tournament on it's scheduled course. Top 8 will still recieve TAL points as normal seeing as the top 8 now have all played and won atleast 9 games. Which is the equivalent of them winning games in a 9 round 512 person SO tournament.

Like it, cry about it, I don't care... that's how it's going to be done.

Comments: I got to say that at the beginning of the game I had a huge advantage. I did a lot of mistakes when I had the advantage. He had frozen almost all his units, and I actually allowed him to unfreeze them in a very dumb way. Not only that, but once it came down to my DSM, Bw, Cleric, Knight, Scout and chanty vs. his 2 knights, 24 scout, lw, bw and cleric I practically gave him for free my chanty. After that I thought I was doomed but he took out my cleric and pyro for his knight and cleric. My knight although had 33 hp with some - and a 32 scout. At this point I was winning, but then my 16 hp knight didn't block a side smack when it had +29. Had it blocked I think I'd of won earlier since I would've returned to my base and attacked in a strategic way. We exchanged blows for one more time during scout-knight making it 12 hp scout vs 5 hp knight. He actually got my BW into very low health and cornering me, but I actually went for a 31% shot to see if it went in. It went in. Game was great, too bad it had to be decided that way.

Comments: SS rushed in and I had to defend the whole time, I exchanged my witch for his witch first and he took my cleric pretty early, I started taking out one of his knights with mages, scout and sassy while he was taking out my cleric and sassy. I also sassy bombed his other knight. While he took my cleric I thought I was screwed but I actually had alot more attackers than him by that time. At the end, he only had like 2 attackers, wards, cleric and chanty vs my 3 knights, scout, sassy and weak pyros. Gg man.

Here, a heads up as to why I did a sudden change of rules.

First of all, at least 7-8 folks have dropped this tourney, which limits the points to a lower quantity, not to mention that not EVERYONE is playing (lemon, kinged, there are more examples). If we wait for this to reach the end of the month or people to hit 40 points, that will take a pretty long time since games will be limited more every time.

My solution to this was instead of making it 8 (because 8 is just too harsh for those who just started to get points now or those that haven't reached 40) make it 16. Why 16 and not 12? Personally, I dislike Round Robins. Secondly, it is a lot easier to arrange games with 16 people and at least 8 folks would be distributed TAL (just like last All-To-All).

I wouldn't mind changing it to 12. I'm just curious how many people would like the idea of being cut from 16 to 12, and having people gaining TAL from 8 to 6.
