Now, this is how this is going to work:

Play everyone in your group once. I'll keep records in next post. Tie breakers will go to the person that won the original match between the two, but any discrepancy (as in three tying) will reult in another match between those involved. Top 2 from each group advance, then play single elimination.

Similar to RGL for walkover rules. That means that if you organize a time with any opponent, and they miss twice, you can claim the win as long as you provide proof.

Two weeks from this coming Monday is your deadline, barring unforeseen circumstances. it should be enough time.

Recap of rules:

Welcome to my street tournament. There are only two rules, and those rules are simple.

1. No defensive units (see below)

2. Each group will vote on a certain unit, and the unit that receives the most votes will not be able to be used.

Now, as you probably have noticed, I used the word "group" rather than "match." I am going to try a somewhat new concept here. It was actually used by Spor in the first running of the tourney, and sort of by Lieu...but I haven't seen it used very often. There will be 8 groups of equal numbers of people (I'm hoping for 4+ per group) and the winner from each group (after all the people have played, round robin style) will move on. The top 8 will play single-elimination, with one person coming out on top. I haven't decided yet whether I'll seed the entrants or not. It would be somewhat hard to seed, as bombing isn't a popular game choice, but it would also suck to have, say, Prof and Sniper in one group.

Monday to Thursday: 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
Friday/Saturday: 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Sunday: 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM

None of my times are set in stone. If time zones don't work I can get on at almost any time if I know in advance, but I prefer not to if I can avoid it. Fridays and Saturdays are the days I can change my times around the best, so if we need to switch things up, try them.

Also, I've got stuff to do tomorrow morning, so I likely won't be on until later in the day.

Well, Redreoicy broke our rules. I want the win. I wouldn't be a stickler for this, except that this is the second time [for two different tournaments, and in each formation advantage was key] that he has used a "wrong" set; in the other tournament, I'm simply not going to play him [there are 78 other people, anyway]. He got probably a bit more luck than me with 2 or 3 scout side blocks and a Witch frontal block, I got some blocks too, but they weren't as significant imo. Got extremely lucky almost the entire game, got a crucial dsm block at the end which let me kill his knight and scout and that was the game

Description: He had the luck throughout the match, the only lucky block I got was a knight front block when my knight had -70 blocking. However, I managed to battle it out, and made it my 19 HP knight, 25 HP scout, and 50 HP DT against his 60 HP DT and 8 HP DSM. I had to attempt a frontal on his DSM with my scout, which was the hit/block that meant the game. His DSM blocked, and he fried my scout/knight.

Good game Philly. Not much I could do about blocking.
