Just FYI though (ill send this in a PM too) I got a midterm on thursday and an essay due on friday. But starting friday is my spring break so after friday night partying I'll be pretty easy to arrange games with.

Hey man. Im GMT +2, so the only times we could play are on weekends. And are you sure EST isn't GMT -4 now, because of the daylight savings?

Anyways, how about saturday, 1 PM your time?

Also next time when you send me a message, tell me exactly what time is (mine is 12:57 pm now) and est time is -5 hours gmt.

Sin, the last round was you vs rag, and a round robin between me shurt and deto to end the tourny with another round robin... I lost to deto for the semi, not for the final; so it's still a round robin with me you and him for the final. If you didn't like it why didn't you talk in the last round when you saw the first post?

Actually, we already knew shurtugal gave you the win... so there was no need for both of us to play to advance to the finals since 2 people were going to advance. Slayer and HK told us to play, I thought the winner between you and me was gonna play sin for the finals or our game was going to count for the round robin finals. It really doesn't make any sense to me.

Yeah between deto/blud and I, round robin didn't make sense and I posted as soon as I realized what a dumb decision Slayer made with a round robin.

Shurtugal basically was a D/Q/Drop out, So it should have been you versus Deto for Semi's and Me versus Ragnarth. Why should they carry you over to the round robin but not Rag? Does not make one bit of sense and why should Deto have to beat you twice?

Close game, I think we were both a little careless in the beginning. I had to spend a lot of time protecting my cleric, but managed to do it. Ultimately it came down to his knight, scout, witch, wards cleric and chanty vs my 3 knights, assassin, scout, and cleric. He was piece up, but I had a lot of attack to change that around. I managed to trap his scout in the middle of the board between 3 of my knights and his barriered witch, which was pretty weird. Anyway I managed to kill both of them off and win. Good game Red.

I totally messed up at the beginning, trading knight and assassin for chanty. You played well not to mess up, though. If I had killed your scout or cleric I could've gotten the advantage. As it was, even when I was a unit up, I had no chance.

Sinful - Cekkino and Deto both walked into their semi-final match 1-0. Cekkino did lose to Deto so he finished the round 1-1. However Shurtugal was 0-2, and the top 2 advanced.

You cannot hold shurtugal's withdrawl against Cekkino; especially considering Shurt had already missed one time they had setup a few days prior, and conceded the game on the second day they were going to play. This was a decision made by Myself, Magician and Slayer to be the most fair and continue a precedent we've been following since TAL started.

What doesn't make sense to me is that you are doing 2 round robins.

Generally I thought the idea was to keep round robins minimal. Instead of having a round robin where the top two advance and then just adding a third who won his game for another round robin, I'd think the winner (not winners) of the round robin would go on to face the other player.

Comments: Meh....suckyish game. I used a dsm rush, and sniper used a one sided one. He got first turn and hit dsm, then I burned and he healed. I went after his dragon and mud and archer, and he got my cleric and dsm while I did that.

He got some early blocks that sucked for me, and allowed him to get a good lead. Not to mention he made some nice moves protecting his dragon. And afterwards i got the same blocks he got which got me the lead. But he got the most crucial of all, a knight side block with like -50 something which sealed the deal, otherwise I would have won.

Anyways good game sniper....I'll finish with A-99 later.

Comments: Pretty good game, Opp anti's. Was one big slug fest, neither of us healed once heh. He flanked me, I flanked him. Only block in the entire game was a knight side of mine but thats really it I believe, and no luck either. I made one brutal DT move at the end which if I hadn't have done, probably would have made it closer but he still would have won I think. good game.

Comments: Lol...we both use anti's, and I think we got kinda excited at the fact :p Anyways We kinda turned it into a rush. Neither one of us used a cleric. And by killing mine first he was able to get a slight lead in unit damage. What changed the game in my favor though was when I caught up to him by dragoning his knight, then mud quaking, then finishing off his knight.

Efficiency won me this one, since he played pretty dam good and brought me down to damaged dragon and a full health knight. Another close game.

Comments: Opp anti, he used the anti/rush thing. Started out pretty equal until I got a scout side block which set him back one turn. Later though, he got 2 scout blocks which combined set me back like... 3 turns in addition to terrible positioning. I knew it was long over after the 2nd block as I was too close in frosty range without any range of my own and I pretty much got bored. tried some half-ass attempt to kill his frosty but didnt get anywhere. he woulda won anyways heh, he played well. gg.

We're about to play right now and yes I made a mistake with my GMT....... it changed from 8 to 7 a few weeks ago... so I got confused, I still don't know why I said -8.

I eventually took them out and exchanged them for pretty much one of my knights giving me a slight advantage. A scout side hit made me take out his cleric pretty easily, from there it went down hill for him.

Comments: Same side anti's, he had first turn... I started pretty good, I damaged his dragon and protected my cleric very well. I took his cleric before he had mine. At some point I had pretty good position but I made a mistake by letting his 10 hp dragon survive for too long, I got all his last couple of units to one hit dead except for his 33 hp frost but I just couldn't finish them off. He ended up outplaying me in the end. Well played man. Gg.

Comments: Wardless center vs wardless center.... the game was very paired up but luck just screwed him up and sealed the whole deal. I got some mage blocks, and frontal/side hits on his scout then my scout blocked liked twice from the sides. Without the luck it would have been alot closer. Sorry man. Good game.

Comments: close game...... off center vs his second corner same side, he had first turn so he blocked LOS from his cleric with a very good move with his mud golem. I thought I was screwed cause he was quacking in my base with his stoned golem and threating my cleric with his other scout. He brought up his wisp too, I rushed in with mud, wips and scout too. I destoned him with my mud briging his scout to 23 hp, i finished him off with my dragon, then I froze his mud after he killed my cleric. I exchanged one of my scouts for his cleric. I killed his cleric after he killed mine so I had a lil bit of disadvantage with HP's. Then I got a scout side block that helped me alot and I already had his dragon to very low hp. I took out his other scout and froze his knight. It was pretty much over from there. Sniper blamed luck but there wasn't really any luck but the scout side block in that game. Which it would have been still closed if he hit cause his dragon was 2 hits dead. I recorded all 3 games, I will post them somtime. Good games dude.

Yea good game..when I said ''screw tao it's all about luck'' or w/e it was a general statement not just referring to that game. I'm pretty sick of tao right now and can't wait to get like 1 more TAL so I can quit.

That's what happens when you're on like 10ish hours a day for an entire year. :p

Pace yourself next season, you're good enough to get the top prizes, don't need to do it in 2/3 of the season...
