Mag's Magestical Magnificent All Day ODT!

Wow, that's alot of Mag. Anyway, as I know some of you have heard, I'm going to be running an All Day ODT, starting at 6pm GMT (in about 3 hours). It'll be run in a similar vein to Realist's Backgammon-style ODT.

Rules:

1) Participants will be given 20 chips to gamble with when they signup.

2) Opening bids are 1. You may raise as high as you want, including all-in.

3) You can raise whenever you want in game, and prior to the game if you've been challenged. If you raise, and your opponent does not call you, you win automatically - much like in a game of poker. Please screenshot to avoid any arguments.

4) You will be allowed to buy in, to the tune of 1 TAL point for 20chips. You will only be allowed to buy-in once per hour. If I find this is being abused in any way (deliberately giving free chips after buying in, for example) you will be immediately disqualified, with potential TAL consequences.

5) All games are 7 units as standard, though you are allowed to agree to play another style if you so wish. You are allowed to use drops. Dragon Tyrant = 2, as usual.

6) Ante's will raise every 90 minutes, doubling up each time.

7) TAL points will be awarded based on the number of participants (most likely 4 participants per TAL awarded), so the more the merrier. :)

8) You must sign up on the forums to participate, stating the account you wish to use throughout the tournament. Also, all match results must be posted on the forums, with screenshot verification for chips won/lost in the encounter.

You can rebuy if/when you have no chips remaining. It'll cost you 1 TAL point to do so, for 20 chips, and can only be done once per hour.

If this is supposed to be an extended, almost all-day ODT, then shouldn't the games reflect this plan?

Planning an all-day ODT with 7 unit games (which should take a few minutes each) seems...counter-productive.

I'd def say either full-out grey, free, or turtle games in an all-day ODT, or just make it a regular ODT with the 7-unit games. Quick games don't mesh with long tournaments.
