Guessing not for 2 reasons...
1) Jeff posted it, and I just can't see him ever getting scammed.
2) They clearly state it's a refurbished I-Pod.

The stuff at the bottom about the headphone colors is hilarious.

Woot has been around for years. It is one of the largest marketing websites out there.
There gimmick is simple. They charge $5 shipping. No matter the item.
They offer ONE item per day. Today is the iPod. They sell them until they sell out, or the next day hits. If they sell out, nothing else goes on sale until tomorrow. 1 item per day is how they do it.
Exception to that is a Woot-Out. Thats when they sell things they didn;t completely get rid of before. They open up the sale on the item, and when it's sold out, switch to the next. Some items are available for a couple of minutes only.
First come first serve.
And their descriptions are always funny.
Yes, many items they sell are refurbs. But they honestly say when they are.
They also have a couple "side deals. Today is the docking station. They also sell a Wine of the day, and a T-shirt of the day.

I've purchased something from this site before. Prices are good, along with the cheap shipping. Simply a matter of checking early.

I need a new Ipod, and that's a great deal.
I'm not sure i trust the site though ;)
We say this to pre-empt another ugly situation like the one we had with Millard, the customer who demanded satisfaction after we had the temerity to send white earbuds with his black iPod.

I got an iPod Touch at a Goodwill for 30$, it looked almost brand new, and it works and everything.

Nice. I always found goodwill to overcharge electronics. They have old iHomes for like 50 bucks with parts broken off, and cd players for 20. One store had about 30 wireless cards and they were selling them used for the same price at walmart.
