This round begins Wednesday, April 1 and will continue through Thursday, April 9 at 11:59 P.M. PST time (GMT-8).

The extension request deadline is Wednesday, April 8 at NOON PDT. Both parties and captains must approve extensions.

Comments: Two games. First game was really hard, one of the hardest I've played. I didn't open very well, and got punished really hard. After just a few moves I found myself in a pitful position, from there I just tried to catch back. I got some lucky blocks there, which allowed me to stay in the game. Still, he should have won it but he started to playing worse and worse as the game went deep into the endgame. I even had a won position in the end, but the luck turned around and we ended up drawing (my knight couldn't catch his assassin without taking risks). Fitting end in my eyes.

In the second game we agreed to use whatever sets, and I had this feeling he was going to either center or again use a corner thats weak in same side games. So I picked the set I thought was the most suited for this kind of stuff, and I got it right - he had a corner that was designed against centers in mind. I had a big advantage and I kept it. Good games.

I had a DSM front line rush but got first turn against his opposite side anti. I did have a DSM side block after getting hit from the front, but it didn't give me an extra burn, just cost him an extra turn to kill it.

I ended up losing both my scouts earlier, and eventually my mud and DSM.

The real game started when it was my 2 Knights, DT, Cleric vs. his 3 knights, scout, Frost.

I slowly worked my way in, and was contemplating taking a draw, which it seems Creed was willing to offer (he had passed a few turns since he was in a good defensive position and didn't need moving)

I went in.

I used my DT to injure one of his knights so it only needed a knight hit to kill. This allowed him to freeze my dragon, but not really do a good amount of damage to it. I got the side hit, and killed his knight with one of mine.

He then retreated his Frost, and froze my attacking knight. My other knight was close, so I started moving it in to pressure the frost golem. He took a few shots on my frozen knight, I moved in DT without attacking, and healed. He then retreated his FG again to freeze my other knight in a better position.

I then had to move up my previously frozen knight to add pressure. He used scout to block my way, so I killed it with my DT.

I'm two turns away from unfreezing my other knight. My knight is 2 hits from death, cleric has 2 wait. He hits a side shot on my knight making it one hit from death. I can either retreat and heal up for a few turns, but this would certainly be the end of my other knight.

The game literally came down to this move. I moved in my knight needing a side block (it was at +blocking from the hit last turn). I got it. Unfroze my other knight. Being at negative blocking now, a front hit killed that knight.

To make a longer story only slightly longer. I got another knight block (no modifiers) to keep my last knight healthy. I killed FG, and then his knights.

It was a great game.

I knew he was going to use a back row set considering you know the set i use and i guessed the side for his games before. I have not talked to mav about psst since like a week after PSST started. Anyways, bohemoth used a side rush with lw+dsm, mid lw which would of been perfect for me to use my dual dsm spread.
ANYWAYS, his lw+dsm side rush vs my samesides anti, I rushed in my mud, which got to do some damage and instead of getting 1 dsm burn on me he decided to kill 1 of my scouts first and flank clericy.

Comments: It was an extremely close game. He started by sending all his arsenal into my area and basically only allowing me to move one scout so I wouldn't get unstoned. I was able to take out his mud and wisp for my scout and wisp, but his position at that point was very bad. Somehow he managed to take back all his units and stone them before I did, but it was a matter of time before my furgon became decisive in the outcome of the game since he was lacking of a mud. Gg Mach, I had fun.

Just kidding. I let his DSM live to long. He started out with a pretty bad move but it was his only one of the game. Traded clerics, very little luck involved, I had a good position with my frosts against his scouts but his DSM kept pressuring so I had to go too defensive, barely got to use my DT.

He thought I would use the same center I've been using the whole tourney, and he set up to counter it. However, I sort of figured this kind of thing was coming eventually, so I set up a corner. I mad massive set advantage from the get-go, as his LW was almost entirely out of play and his units weren't able to support each other against my side pressure. We swapped his DMW for my knight early, but I had position. He missed a move that allowed me to kill his pyro for nothing, and then one of his knights stopped blocking (I hit a 20% side shot after landing the previous side shot). At this point, I had only lost my knight, while he had only 2 knights, injured scout, cleric chanty and wards left. It was a good game, he played very well, but the set gamble really made it just about un-winnable for him.

Yeah he pretty much raped me

I made a good early trade of my mud for his scout, but I didn't maintain an offensive enough presence, and so he put me back and very very carefully went in and took over. A lucky knight side hit (it had like +50) helped him (though if he blocked it would still be in danger of course) by removing one of my pieces from play making it near impossible for me to win unless he made mistakes, which he wasn't doing by playing carefully.

I got her opp side LW anti vrs my spread beasty rush with first turn. I got the insta-cleric kill and she misclicked (which I would have given back had she not attacked :( ) which, in the scheme of things didnt mean so much. I targeted her dragon and muddy which I got for my own muddy, wisp, and DSM. I got off just enough quakes to bring her frost to 19hp and finished her off with my br. After that I took out her LW and just scouted her off. Won by a low scout and knight, which, considering the set disadvantage, meant skittle played very well. Which she did. GG bud. :)

If you choose times that were in my given time frame originally, I wouldn't have to try to make compromises (which I wasn't able to fulfill since my events ran overtime).
