Welcome to RGL April, third month under the new system. Almost everything will stay the same as far as rules go, with a few modifications.

NEW Rule Changes
1) Going undefeated in any league will result in a bonus of 2 to your accumulated TAL Points.

2) Completing all your RGL games will now give you 1 bonus point towards your overall RGL score used to determine ranks. Please note this is an RGL point, and not a TAL point.

Please Note: Walkover wins are not considered "completed games", unless it's a blanket walkover win due to severe inactivity by a particular user.


Older Rule Changes
* If you prearrange a time to play your opponent, and miss it, your opponent can claim the win by walkover. This only applies after missing a 2nd match. Also, failure to communicate with your opponent may result to you losing your matchup, as well as being disqualified from the League. Walkover results are scored 3-0 to the person who showed up.

* YOU MUST CLAIM A WIN BY WALKOVER IF YOU WISH IT TO COUNT! (And obviously provide proof)

* Points are NOT awarded to game that haven't been completed, however deliberately dodging your opponent OR by someone withdrawing for a single month will result in a win by walkover.

* My word is final. If there are any complaints, keep them out of this thread by contacting me directly, quoting the posts referenced.

1st: 5 TAL

3rd: 1 TAL

Games must be completed BY April 30th. Any games scheduled on or after that date are acceptable IF setup via Private Message with an attached copy to myself, so I can plan ahead.

Please post battle reports in something resembling the following format:

League x Leage # is important, makes my job a hell of alot easier.

Screenshot: If your opponent does not confirm your victory, you will need to post the screenshot.
Comments: Anything you wish to say about the match

Failure to do so may result in your match not being recorded correctly or on time, and will seriously put a Klown into an angry mood :dry:. Please follow the format. It makes fishing out results alot easier. Seriously, post the League you're in. Please!!! Thanks.

Comments: Frustrated game....... I had set disadvantage since he had second turn and he wipsed my dsm and pyro at the same time, while he still had dsm. Somehow I avoided the dsm burn very good to minimun and I evened out the game... then he blocked a dragon side shot from my scout that pretty much put me in bad position, and some other side hit on my knight to kill it. It came down to 11 hp knight with - blocking vs my 8 hp knight. He went for the side hit and it hit. Good game.

It was a close game all the way to the end where it came down to his 8 HP knight vs my 11 HP knight. I had a dragon side block that did help turn the game in my favor towards the end, otherwise luck was even.

I was frustrated because I was trying to keep the game even which was hard since your beasty and wisp made it pretty hard to fight while I had to deal with an dsm.

And well played, I thought I woulda lost throughout most of the game, but luck helped both of us and it made me believe I lost. In the end I got a scout side block that saved me from losing. My pyro is hott. <3 pyro

Ya, luck kept us both in it. I got some ridiculous luck on one of his knights, but I think I woulda been better off going for his dragon with my scout then going for the side hit to save my own dragon because I was forced to do some things end game that I really did not want to do (I also made an unsmart risk with my scout thinking he would block for some reason) in trading my scout to save my dragon with 4hp.... lol facepalm. Anyways, at the end he won by a 9 hp scout and 8 hp pyro, whereas I woulda won by a 4 hp knight just to show u how close it was :P. Thinking back, I probably shoulda won this but I played sloppy at the very end and deserve what I got :P.

ya neither of us was really blocking anything important, at least from what I can remember the only blocks I got were the knight side and dragon frontal neither of would have benefited me in any big way. I just played much much more risky then u taking way more make or break hits, getting EACH ONE :D... I probably could have played it less risky, but you would have taken advantage of it and raped me :P

EDIT: I just remembered maybe getting a scout side block in their somewhere. >.>

Comments: His dsm rush vs my LW anti without frost...... I thought I was screwed first cause his dsm was out of my LW range. Luckyly I had second turn so I kinda spread out my units so I didn't get all my weak units burned by dsm. I took his cleric before he took mine, then I abused my LW. At the end was my 3 full hp knights, LW and 14 hp scout vs his 1 full hp knight, second knight slightly hurt and third knight was like 18 hp. Spence played pretty well, despite a few misscalculations at the end of the game. Good game man.

Comments: My DSM corner anti vs. his centerish spread. It started with even trades. We traded scouts while I got his mud and he got my DSM. I went for frost as he was taking another scout (thats might not be right it was somsething like that). I got some luck which made it easier for me to take his dragon and so in the end it was our 3 knights against each other but I had a wounded drag while he had a wounded scout. He got some great luck in the knight fights in the end but it didn't make up for the ground he lost. gg.

Thanks, yea I was up. I was planning to frontly your 10HP scout if you didn't draw back as it was at 10HP. From there freeze your second scout and block of sides so knights wouldn't flank. Bad things could happen but I did have a good advantage.

Description: Well, in my opinion it was a great game. Same side game, my DSM rush vs his standard anti. I blocked with my DSM first turn, and burned his DT, knight, and mud. I took his knight and mud early, and was making (in my head) the best possible move combination. I used wait times to my advantage, and spread some good damage around before I killed his cleric.

It was fairly even unit wise, but HPs gave me a slight advantage. I made my first mistake of the match here, when I attacked his DT from the side with my knight and didn't face its direction properly, allowing him a back shot and DT blast for the kill (if I had faced it properly, I would've likely gotten the block as he had just side hit me the turn before). I fought off his unit advantage with a quick kill on his knight, putting me in a winning situation as his scout had 23 HP, and DT had 15, where my scout had 3 HP and DT had 26 (and my scout was well out of range of anything). It was here that I made the fatal mistake that allowed Anti the win. His DT had just moved, but rather than a) not moving at all and letting him do something or b) moving my DT away out of his DT's range, I used my DT to kill his, allowing Anti to get 2 shots on my DT.

It came down to my scout vs his scout, and he gave me perfect positioning to win, but I didn't get the frontal on his, which would've let me back shot before he could attack.

Anti capitalized on my mistakes perfectly, and turned a match that looked like I outplayed him into a win.

Comments: My full-line rush against his rush with DSM and Wisp. I thought I was screwed from starters since his setup had a good advantage against DSM users and he had 2nd turn, allowing me to burn only once. After a while of gameplay I was able to take some of his advantage away after he missed some pretty good moves. With set disad and all, and him not aiming at my DT when he had the chance I was able to cut his advantage and have the upper hand for a moment, but the fact my 5 hp knight blocked a 89% frontal basically killed any chance he had. Very good game from both sides and it sure was fun.

From there my luck just got silly but it didn't really matter, as he said. He played it very well and took my luck without bitching. A rarity :happy:

Sorry about not playing any games but 1 so far this month. Baseball has been ridiculously crazy.

We agreed to play grey and it was a pretty close game, I got slightly more luck than her in that her witch didn't block at all, and a few more knight side blocks/hits went my way. But it wasn't anything game changing in my opinion. Well if her witch had blocked the 71% killing shot I had on it, it would have put me in a poor initial position, but a 71% shot is fairly in my favour and it would have been a different game, it was too early to determine the outcome. Good game.

Comments: Well, he started off asking if we wanted to draw [before we got in-game]. I said "no, thanks". We then got in-game. His form was nearly a direct counter to mine [I used a centre turtle-- he used a bomb. Each mage was out of my LW range by 1. His flanking scouts could hit my cleric. His knights could rush around my LW. His mud was in the centre. *laugh* I jokingly said "...draw?"

He agreed.

However, the form matchups looked fun, so we played it out anyway :)

He started off rushing his mud in to destone me [I had stoned to stop his scout-cleric kill]. I dragoned his mud and moved to block off LOS. He then rushed in his scout on the other flank and attacked my cleric. I zapped his mud with my LW. He moved his pyromancer up and damaged one of my scouts, and a knight. I killed his mud with my undamaged scout. He moved his other flanking scout over to kill my damaged scout. I then froze his scout that had attacked my cleric. He moved his pyromancer up between his scout and my LW. I moved my scout up to block his pyromancer and side-shot his DSM. He moved up his knight to pressure me more. I killed his DSM with my dragon. He killed my cleric with his scout. I then zapped his pyromancer with my LW. He then side-shot my scout with a knight [damaged 3 from mud-quake]. From there...I played pretty damn good, getting his cleric and whoring him down. He got a lucky frontal on my scout.

It was a long game, and in the end I got a lucky scout shot [50%-ish] that allowed me to use my golems to win the game [I won by knight/frost/stone/LW vs. his Dragon/2-hit-kill-knight (yay for a no-heal turtle vs. a bomb!)]. Great game, Cekk!

He missclicked, I gave it back, after I gave it back I forgot to heal (I was going to do it before to give him back the missclick) to save my mud, he killed my mud, he also got a frontal hit on my knight with his knight and he ended to win for the dragon.

I hope you'll not make another missclick vs me cause I'll be sad... you also didn't think to give me the chance to heal or something like that looking that you could consider it another missclick... if I was in you I'd have offer you the draw, but gg anyway
