The Catapult is a mid-evil weapon with very long range a a good number of damage. The overhead attack makes it unblockable. The catapult of course cannot move itself or operate but does count as a unit. The catapult is a decent HP unit with High Steel armor.

HP: 36
Armor: 30
Movement: 0
Attack: Explained Under
Range: 6
Recovery: 4

The attack of the catapult is amplified by the unit using it. The catapult's range is like so:
Z: Attack
Y: Zone 2
W: Zone 3
V: Zone 4
X: Blank

XXXXVXXXXX
XXXVWVXXXX
XXVWYWVXXX
XVWYZYWVXX
XXVWYWVXXX
XXXVWVXXXX
XXXXVXXXXX
To activate the catapult you have to hit it in the back with a unit. The power of the unit that attacks is the power of the target zone. The Zone 2 does 60% of the damage the Zone 3 does 40% and the Zone 4 does 20%

The Unit must be Melee and the damage is Unblockable.

When you attack the catapult the unit cannot move again until the cannon's wait is over. This is not a paralyze just an extra wait.

The catapult cannot move or turn.

The catapult is enemy operable so you do need to be very clever in where you put it because so close to there line might be able to to attack you.

The catapult's range must be at least one in front:

C: Catapult
X: Blank
R: Range

XXXXXRXXXXX
XXXXRRRXXXX
XXXRRRRRXXX
XXRRRRRRRXX
XRRRRRRRRRX
XXXXCXXXXX

Range isn't right on the scale above but you understand the concept.

Sounds like it has very low attack, maybe i misunderstand.

I think you do. The INDIRECT target zones are Lower... but the direct is the attack of the unit using it which in most cases will be a knight.

The target from a knight is:
22
another space out it:
13
ANother is:
9
And the final zone is:
4

Still seems a tad weak, but then i guess i think that because of the wait. Maybe if the catapult boosted the attack by 8. So with a knight it would do 30. Maybe not, this is the first time i've seen this concept.

So the first space is 22 the 2cd is 13 the 3rd is 9 and the last is 4 ?

If the knight uses the Catapault.

Meh, what a great way to return huh?
Anyways, knightmarez your unit is almost a duplicate of another unit on another game.

Quick question, would there be an extremely long range version of this weapon that can't go short range, called a Trebuchet?

It sounds like a cool idea. But, would it not be easy to walk around it? I mean, a lightning ward is from all directions..
If its made from steel, does that mean only magic attacks can damage it?

You showed me that pox thing and there like nothing alike... or I just don't know how to read Pox.

A knight has steel armor. Answer your question?

its a very good idea but it needs some kinks worked out, like all CAU the wait is pretty long and im not sure if the dmg is worth it, considering its relly only that usful when the knight uses it.

Yes but it's got great range. A 4 Radius can pick up all units in a shot.

Care to not look like an idiot and explain or are you just going to be a spammy poster?

Nightmarez is right Sanders.. Explain or admit your post is invalid.
Ok, that steel thing I said earlier, was a bit stupid of me lol. But still think you could just walk around it and it wouldn't become a hassle

Right but the LW is there for strength and defense not to be able to walk around.

Beauty of the LW is that it targets all around it. And besides, my opponents still walk around it lol.
It is a good idea, Im not saying that it is bad. Every idea is worth reading.

I'll try to explain then.. although I don't want to. If he didn't already say that and get bashed for it I probably would have said it :p

Idk... that spread damage is really complicated, and the opponent using it is even more complicated.

It is strong cause it's like an ultra mudquake from a safe distance, but weak cause it ties up two pieces for 4 turns. It's also kinda hit-or-miss like the GA (btw why is the GA blockable, but not the catapult?).

Id kinda be flustered if it got put into the game.
