I think this is pretty clear. If both teams CSS is the same, then all 4 games will be of the same style. The only confusion is if teams have different CSS, and go to a tie of 2-2. Then the tie breaker will be of the style that was never played. But... then maybe im just crazy.

I dunno, the overall purpose of this tournament is ultimately up to Rag. But the feeling I got based on the rules is, this is a tournament to see who is the best at what they think their best at. With the all-around skill coming in 2nd. If teams choose the same CSS but instead play everything but that, then its more of a tournament based on "who is the best at what is not their best". More of a complete opposite. While certainly interesting... entirely different then what it currently is.

But strysus, in the end, if your team wins what it's best at, and loses what the other team is best at, then it ends up being 1 game of the style no one is good at. Therefore, the purpose is different in different settings.

So if both teams picks grey, each player will play 1 game of the CSS of his team's choice ( in this case GREY ) and 1 game of the adversary team's CSS ( which its GREY ). So i dont see how it's not clarified, and certanly is not the momment of arguing about it considering i sent you the rules more than a month ago.

I managed to fend off his initial attack and take his sassy for nothing. He then made the mistake of putting his scout in range of a witch and knight of mine whilst his cleric was on wait, I had the chance to risk a frontal on the scout which didn't really put me in a bad position, naturally I went for it and it paid off. His pyro quickly followed and from there against my 8 attackers it was always going to be very difficult for him. Good game, sorry it was decided so early.

Comments: My center turtle vs his center wardless, so a very good game. I had one bit of crummy luck which made my defense start to break, which was his knight frontal on my scout. I also made one mistake in the opening, frying his knight, allowing him to bring on more mage pressure than I could handle, and it cost me. Fortunately though, while I lost 2 knight and my LW, I still had a good position to set a trap that he fell for, costing him his scout and my witch. It ended up with me at 1 knight, 1 scout, 1 assassin, 1 bw, 1 cleric, 1 chant, and he had 2 knights, 1 assassin, 1 chant, 1 cleric, 1 witch. We exchanged blows for a while, I retreated eventually and he charged with 2 knights and assassin. He played it well trying to get around my chant, but not quite well enough. I took a lot of shots on his assassin, it blocking a frustrating amount of them. Finally I was able to finish off his assassin with my chant at 3 HP, ready to either freeze or barrier next turn without the possibility of him killing it, and he surrendered. Very good game.

Well what happend was my knight was blocking the dark mage from blasting my scout and i had a chanty which could freeze the knight.

for some reason (brain meltdown here) i decided to move my knight next to my scout instead of freezing his knight thinking i could force a front hit since scout was already +40 blocking.

I already realised that knight was blocking the dark mage but for that turn i just sorta forgot and not only did it lead to my scout getting blasted. i also gave him a free blast on my knight as well.

Im gonna beatmyself up over that move for a long time. lol

Comments: Same sides, my off center vs her 2nd corner. I had forgotten to put my scout in the position to kill cleric faster, but oh well. We both killed the cleric early and destoned early. Traded wisps, each lost a scout, and then I was able to freeze her dragon and she had no way of getting to it quickly. Because I had an extra damage dealer roaming free, I dealt more damage in this part of the game and eliminated her remaining range (mud, scout), pretty much ending it. Good game.

Ok, so I played tugshung, we ended up drawing our free game. He misclicked at the beggining and I let him redo what he wanted to do wich was nice of me because he insisted that I should not let him redo. Towards the end of the game however, I had the win for sure, but I misclicked with my scout. "And" heres where things got a little messed up. My misclick was basically this, he had just burned my knight to 8 hp and healed so his dragon was at 2 turn wait and his cleric was at 3. I was going to hit his dragon with my scout and retreat but I accidently just moved my scout and didnt shoot his dragon. So basically for me to redo my misclick (wich he agreed on) I had to pass, move my scout back to where it was, pass, shoot dragon and retreat. But what ended up happening was me passing, then moving my scout back to where it was, then me passing again and then he burned/killed my knight retreated his dragon and then healed the very next turn. I was really surprised at this cause I didnt think tugshung was a person to cheat (and Im sure he isnt) so I just assumed their must be a language barrier or a misunderstanding somewhere. Basically, the game went from me winning 100% guaranteed to a draw. Tugs said he would confirm me as winning though because of our misunderstanding.

Comments: I had all the luck. I sacrificed my 6 best virgin goats to the great blood god before the match. When lemon surrendered it was 9 vs 7 in my favour but he only had 3 mobile attackers whereas I had 7 because I went wardless. He killed scout and I had killed witch, assassin and a knight.

I got the split (humorously enough losing my css game and winning in theirs), hopefully Stupid Cows can at least do the same.

Ha, I'm not that great. I had a scout side, 2 pyro big pyro blocks and a witch block in this game. In anycase, I'd go wardless, the extra attackers are worth it if you can keep applying pressure. It can be risky business though.
