Yeah you had a general health advantage (just took my mud to 38, your mud was on 43 I think, I had 1 scout on 28 and another full and both yours were full, your knight was on 33 hp and mine was full, both frosts were full (I think, at least I don't recall hitting yours) and stone hp was irrelevant). I also moved my scout to a poor position after finishing your wisp (I wanted that space free for my mud to put your mud at 32hp and destone you).

Nevermind. We reset [he disconnected once while resetting...headaches!]. I made a mistake, which COULD have been fixed, but he just played it from there (it was to my advantage). It looked like I was going to come out ahead, when--Gypsy won, double knight sides finishing the game. Ah well, good game :)

Pretty lame from you zad and nasty tactic of taking a dc win then not accepting the reset, all this without mention that Bax DID put his amazing love for me and DQ'ed me for a supposed inactivity, of course Rag wouldnt argue with a mod that partially runs TAL's activity .... because if you DONT remember Ragnarth made an opposite decisition less than 16 hrs before this guy made his "Comment or Suggestion" in the TAL2 thread.

Cekkino did nothing but sending a pm with a 14 hrs period from 2 possible weeks to play this and played a less than a half of a game that maybe lasted less than 5 minutes due to the early dc: a scout and a wisp were all the damage for the contenders, it could have go either way. While myself and Rahan beat YOU twice in turtle and free fairly,also i gave my times as usuall for ALL the week not just 1 day.. or heck 14 hrs, we spend the whole weekend trying to get cekkino either for the reset against rahan or the free game with me , even when ragnarth gave us more days ...but i think you guys had allready planned the dc-coward-win petition,isnt it?

All this for a Round 1 game, zad? I'd imagine what you or the people involved COULD do for a Final or any other big thing, cheap but you allways get what you deserve sooner or later... by the way forget about about the "final" part in the past sentence is not your league,sorry.

Description: Same side game, I was using Prof's DSM anti and he had a normal anti. He started off with some early game luck by hitting a frontal on my DSM (not really "lucky" but unfortunate for my part) and I burned his knight/mud and retreated. I made a dumb move early by attacking his scout with DT instead of his mud (for the kill) which allowed him to quake again. In the long scheme the quake wasn't THAT important as he had to retreat his scout, but it was just the best move I could've made.

Game progressed, and I thought I was defending well, when I made a big mistake and basically let him take my cleric. I almost was able to battle back when I got the only "real" luck of the game hitting a frontal on his 12 HP knight, but my knights were weak, and I would have needed to hit a 34% side shot on his knight to stand a chance, but it blocked.

Sorry Guide. As I said to Gypsy, my head isn't really in TAO right now, but I don't know when I'm going to be able to reschedule, so I stayed with the time we set.

Description: As Gypsy said, I got first turn and opposite sides (though I had initially planned on setting back row and would've got same sides and had a nice advantage).

I opened up trying to gain position, and he brought out his scout. I targeted it with DT first, then attempted a frontal, which it blocked. I was hoping to take the scout with wisp/mud combo, but with that initial block I could not have. I unstoned him and he took my wisp, blocking another frontal in the process. Here I was hoping to take the scout with a third frontal shot, but it blocked that too, and allowed him to unstone me. I lost my scout hoping to take his as well, but it blocked a frontal (surprise surprise it's a trend) and he got his mud into my base. I made some poor moves at this point, but with each block he was already getting position and an extra turn, and there was only a slim chance of victory.

He managed to flat out dominate me, and a large part of it was his scouts' blocking ability. Had I killed the first scout with the 3rd frontal attack, I would not have been unstoned, and been able to pressure his other range. But, it wasn't in the cards for me to win this game, and me and Guide are out of the tournament because of it.

Sorry bro, I did all that I could. Cows played a flawless game and took advantage of all my mistakes.

So on Friday, Mtao said he didn't want to play, but maybe the next day. Then Saturday morning he said he couldn't play on Saturday, so to just reply to his previous PM, which offered 8 PM my time (I don't remember what it was his time, but it's posted in this thread) on any day. So I PMed him and said let's play Sunday night at 8 PM EST -4, which is in about twenty minutes. He never replied, so I don't know if he intends to show up or not, or whether he has checked his inbox in the last couple of days. I have a test tomorrow morning for which I must prepare, so not knowing whether or not he even intends to show, I won't wait longer than fifteen minutes past 8.

Center vs center, I played a little risky, and blud took full advantage. Would've been quite close and maybe his game, but I got the blocks and hits I needed to win the game. Unfortunate for him as he played very well, probably better than me overall. Good game anyway blud. ;)

He was winning at the start, I had gotten his scout to 3hp with a lucky frontal and he got my knight to 2hp, but I didn't have any followups on the scout except pressure, he got my knight easily.

After this I had to move my scout into LW range to undo his BW on his scout so I could continue to pressure it. He missed a possible scout sacrifice by him to kill mine as well, but it might've depended upon a block. Either way he redid the BW and I moved up my other knight, pressuring it. I killed it next turn, he killed my assassin, and I tried to kill his knight (87% chance), but it blocked.

I came back to kill it again, but not until I had lost my witch in weakening his other knight, and another one of my knights, and then I had my one knight in his base vs all his pieces. I hit his witch, and next turn I was going to hit it with scout and retreat out of LW range, but it blocked. If it had hit it would leave my knight open to attack his 14hp cleric (it had wait), or his 15 hp scout (it had -10 blocking and wait). He couldn't attack my knight unless he let me attack either of these two pieces, so it would've been closer but still his advantage.

Either way Anti played pretty amazingly in the beginning and his defense was really hard to break through.. I think it would've been a really intense one without the luck but hey it was only close due to a lucky hit by me in the first place.

He got the luck, and he wins.

Ya, my wisp move was pretty foolish at the start, I would have been in much better position had I moved my mud up on that turn instead of getting my wisp killed. If I had kept it back, I would have defo been able to 1. prevent you from frost whoring 2. keeping 1 of my scouts alive and obviously 3. Id have my wisp in my backfeild to prevent you from killing my cleric as easily as u did.

In case I can't make it to my scheduled game on saturday because Im not entirely sure what my parents have planned for that day, when does this round end and can me and mith get an extention if it's monday. I can't play sunday or monday but tuesday would be fine. This is all assuming my douche parents don't make me do something on saturday lol.

s/s if needed. He pressured my knights pretty well, but I took out his witch and scout early. He then made a terrible move (not a misclick) into a small trap I had set. I could have frozen both his knights and been left with witch, knight, wards, chanty, cleric against his chanty, assassin, wards and cleric. GG tug.

Tug wins. I stink at turtle so I figured my best shot would be to use an unbalanced set and hope for him to use the wrong thing, and it didn't work. We had a fun game nonetheless, I feel pretty happy about the fight I put up. Good game Tug.
