Center vs center, he traded his scout for my witch/bw early when I didn't quite think a witch move of mine through. I shifted my units to my non chanty side, which just gave him a nice appealing line with two of his knights to my cleric/chanty, which he took. Unfortunately, I was able to freeze one from the onset and block off my chanty from his other knight. He then brought up his assassin, as he lost his other knight to get my chanty to 1 hit from death as I had to freeze my cleric as well. So the game just came down to how well I could protect my enchantresses hold on his two knights, and each time he rushed a piece it became a bit harder, but ultimately I held it off long enough to gain a sizeable lead and he ended up being forced to unfocus me with his chanty, but he had to freeze his frozen pieces to do so, which actually let me heal and save my chanty. It was a quite interesting game, and I enjoyed it. Good game Cid.

It would've been more fun if to break the tie there was a game in a random style between a random player for each turn. It would be in the spirit of the tournament but this is fine too really.

If it was done that way then the tournament would take too long. You'd potentially have to wait until the deadline of each round before you knew whether it was a 2-2 tie. Then you'd have to randomise the deciding matchup and give those 2 players a reasonable amount of time to get that game in, which would prolong the round unnecesarilly when it can just be completed by the deadline everytime without fail.

I realized that too much relies on the captain's games. I over looked this, but this tourney has been run before and went by smoothly. I was thinking, for the next time I run this, that I could have the captains replay if it ends up 2-2. Any way that you think of it, it would be another week to get in the game. Another option would be to make teams of 6, so that the captain's games aren't as deciding.

Less talk about how much the tourney sucks, more games.
