i know the concept is thought of before. but i thought my style would add a little coolness.


These Strange wards Always have a strange colored glow and every so often they can call forth Demons from another dimension. The ward appears to be like a doorway with the head of a demon above it. The demons summoned are all all lesser demons. Normally used as cannon fodder by more powerful demons.

Summon
This is not focus. Also these demons or the ward do not count for the purpose of working out how many units you have remaining. If you use this ability Whilst another demon is still alive the first one gets sucked back into its own dimension. You must click on an empty tile to summon a unit. If the ward is destroyed so is the demon.
all summoned units cannot move further then 3 squares from the ward.

if you click an empty tile next to the ward they summon a mini-demon. Mini-demons are perhaps the most powerful of the lesser demons. They are small compared to Greater and stand at 5 feet tall and have small wings. They do have horns but prefer to attack with whips they carry.

if you click on a tile 3 squares away they summon the velkos. The velkos are tall demons. They are very thin and appear to be fragile.They are slow to react and many argue these creatures arent intelligent beings. They can spit acid great distances and can spit over other units.

If they click on a tile exactly 2 spaces away from the ward. they summon a Grimalkin. They are small about 4 feet tall. They each carry a small sling. They look ugly and warty. even other demons are repulsed at how they look.

Range: [4] any 1 sqaure up to 4 tiles away (los applies)

If they click and hold (like the assasin) they summon a critter on all 4 tiles next to them (if that tile is empty). this has a wait time of 5 and not 4. A critter is about half as tall as a human. Even other lesser demons use a critter as cannon fodder.

Understandable yes.. But I think it needs treaked. The summoned creatures appear to be random and too much of a choice. Maybe 2 or 3 maximum. The critter seems very very very.. VERY very very very very very very very very very VERY very very very VERY weak.
Yes those Very's are justified.

Summons should be weak in order to keep a summoner unit balanced in terms of power.

ok ill change it so all the units have a similar theme to them. Perhaps it will sound better then. I gave them all a demon teme.
Each unit has a point to it
the first unit is the "soldier" and does the fighting.
the second unit does unbloackable damage. and good for finishing weakened opponents.
the third is the ranged unit and kills fleeing opponents.
and the 4th is just cannon fodder they stand in the way of other weakened units and take the hit for you but you do get 4 of them.
