VOLATILE CONSTRUCT

These constructs are neither alive or dead, yet they are not machine either, their power seems to come from another realm.. one that animates the material body.. yet the material body is not permanent and only exists in material form at times when it is undisturbed...

The material form is a crude humanoid husk that is separated in chunks and only held together by some sort of plasmic energy (Think dsm glow).

They are deadly powerful but yet also are very problematic to have on your team.

VOLATILE CONSTRUCTS STATS

HIT POINTS: 46
POWER: 24 (blockable)
ARMOR: 15%
BLOCKING: 75%
MOVEMENT: 2 (TELEPORT)
RECOVERY: 1

While the construct is a powerful unit and has a high degree of survivability, it has one MASSIVE drawback...

Since it's energy comes from an outside force.. any disruption of this forces existence disrupts it's ability to remain in this realm.
Hence wether the CONSTRUCT BLOCKS OR IS HIT HE VANISHES FOR THE DURRATION OF THE OPPONENTS TURN... he then re-materializes in solid form after opponent has finished that turn.

So this unit is not good for creating a wall as opponents will hit him and then walk right through to assail your. cleric.

If an opponent hits your Construct and proceeds to stand on the spot the construct is on.. the construct cannot re-assemble until you choose to move it off that tile...

Good for a frontline blitz....decent deep in a turtle... VERY BAD at forming a wall...(as opponent can walk through).. not good movement so you may lose some versatility there as well.

so it can be protected by your own knight, attack it, then move onto it. who takes damage if hit by a knight ? by a dsm or mud quake ? if its just the knight, it can guard the creature, protecting it from harm until the late game. does it get healed while dematerialized, does it count to victory ?

yowzwers i didn't anticipate that!, i might change it so that the construct will move on to the next available space (most notably in the direction of the offending units original occupied space)

"Or" the unit while de constructed does not have the ability to be healed since it is in another plane...however i think it would be cool to make it a weak end game unit, allowing a enemy to occupy the space and never allowing the construct to win the match.... either a forced draw or count it as a victory.
