Spy

-Hp: 35
-Attack: 17 (blockable)
-Armor: 10%
-block: 25% front, 12% sides
-Movement: 4 spaces(can move diagonally) (not telepport)if moved diagonally only up to 2 spaces
-Recovery: 1 turns, (1 for attacking)
-Range: all diagonally spaces adjacent to this unit
-Effect: when destroyed, take 5 Hp, off the unit that destroyed it
-Add. info: can only have up to 2 spies per game

you might think this is just like an assasin, but its different, this spy only attacks diagonally spaces, which can be advantages, because the enemy units cannot.

also it is pretty basic, not to overpowered because of its low armor and block.

also its attacks can be blocked

Game could gain from a diagonal attacker.

I guess the can move diagonally part means this unit can move diagonally withut the diagonal moves costing 2 movement and the unit can walk through units if those units are diagonally across from each other. Is that right?

yes it can walk diagonally, which makes this unit pretty flexible, it can walk in any direction, but it does cost on turn of recovery because its very powerful, if used right.

and i guess yeah, you can move through your units, not enemies,

i was gonna make it enemies because it is a spy, but i think it would make it even more overpowering

What I was saying was that since the Spy can move diagonally if there is a unit in front of the Spy and to the right of the Spy the spy unit can move directly front right where as other units would have been blocked.

Does the Soldier kill him because he thinks he's the red Spy?

since the space is diagonally yes, unless theres units on the diagonal space

Game desginer awesome.

and u can always ask me for my help... does moving diagonally count as moving 1 sqaure or 2 ? i dont mind giving my input but try to give detail.

if it can move four diagonal squares that is alot.

i was thinking the same..

i thought abot it.. and it should be able to move 4 spaces, ut if they come to be diagonal they can only move up to two spaces

Okay, if this unit could only attack diagnol spaces wouldn't that be a disadvantage? Most units, such as the knight, would be able to walk behing the Spy if it is ever in a 1 on 1 and attack twice due to the 2 turn recovery. You would have to be careful and strategic when using it to have an effect.

after i changed the movement diagonal moving to 2 spaces, i changed the recovery to 1
