I never really liked Requiem. Maybe it's because I was fucked on up Suboxone the first time I watched it and I ended up projectile vomiting out 3rd story window. Now that's what I associate with it. It's kind of too fucked up for me too watch. I know a lot of people fighting bad dope addictions..it strikes a cord.

Yeah, it does not tip toe around the issue in anyway. It's raw. I get emmotional every time I watch it and I have no drug issues.

It's just an amazingly powerful movie that is perfect cast and perfectly done.

I just saw it recently, and I thought it was pretty good, but nothing to rave about. That song is good though.

I have about 18 minutes left of the movie so I can't really speak for the whole thing but I watched most of it, I was like if this got Butch emotional it'll make me cry my eyes out. Now I feel like I want to throw up especially the parts with his mom that's SOOOO EFFED UP.

Just finished it, so the game show in the end is supposed to be how it would have been if they didn't do drugs? I agree it's very powerful but it's one of the most depressing movies I've ever seen. Some movies make your eyes water but this one is just like a deeper level, you almost feel numb afterwords.
