Former NFL quarterback Steve McNair was found shot to death Saturday, multiple media outlets reported.

A woman was also found shot to death with McNair in a Nashville condominium in an apparent double homicide.

A public information officer with the Nashville police, Don Aaron, confirmed the death.

McNair played 11 seasons in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans franchise and then spent two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.

He was a three-time Pro Bowler and was the Co-AP NFL MVP in 2003.

Absolutely horrible news. I'm a Titans fan, and Steve McNair is a Titans legend. One of the toughest players to play the game, and one of my favorite players of all-time.

RIP Air McNair.

A friend of mine left me a message on Facebook that his wife shot him, and then herself. Trying to find the source of that news now.

One of the classiest and best QBs to play the game.
I had alot of respect for this man, he's how Vick should've been.

It wasn't his wife. His wife was in Houston, and is still alive. Bud Adams, the Titans owner, is with her and the McNair family.

The identity of the deceased woman hasn't been released yet to my knowledge, so the relationship between McNair and her are unknown. Dunno if she's a friend, or possibly even a mistress. I'm just speculating, but if it's a homicide-suicide, the latter could be possible...unfortunately.

Being half awake when I saw this title I was like "no way" but it's true..

Thanks for the memories, Air McNair. You embodied the image of a Titan and played the game the way it was meant to be played. I count myself blessed as a Titans fan to watch you compete and have you represent my favorite team.

Damn. Igot a text yesterday afternoon from a friend who lves in TN and was saddened. =(

I always liked Steve McNair and because of him I kind of liked the titans (plus they were in colts division :p). RIP Steve McNair!

Its been released that she was a girl he had on the side.
