Yeah, I don't get it.
Watchmen isn't a mainstream comic book action film. It's not Iron Man. Lots of the people who hated it are people who thought it was, and didn't know anything about it going in. These are the people who thought it was too hardcore, too long and way too weird.
Well, those people sure aren't going back, especially if it's going to be more hardcore, longer and weirder. And those of us who liked it, Watchen fans, like me, probably aren't going to buy enough tickets to make a re-release worth it. I thought it was great, and I'll buy the dvd when it comes out, but I'm not going to go see it in the theater again.
