(Red is changes I've made)
First of all, hey everyone. Long time player, first time forumer. Hows it going?
The first time I played was near beginning, and I've returned to play from time to time. I've seen the game grow with all the new units, and its time for more.

Second, I'm sure this has been suggested before, but this is my personal spin on the unit. Here we go.

Name: Paladin

HP: 50
Attack: 22
Armor: 25
Block: 80 Front, 40 Side
Range: 1
Recovery: 1 attack, 0 move
Movement: 3

So far, its simply a knight. Heres how it becomes a paladin.

Effect: As long as your cleric remains on the field, the Paladin's attack is increased to 28 AND is counted as a magic unblockable. If all of your clerics are dead, the paladins attack drops back down to a physical 22.

Effect 2: Only 1 cleric can be placed on the field with this unit.

Effect 3: If the paladin remains on the field, a cleric cannot heal (but it can walk). The Paladin syphons the clerics power - If the Paladin dies, the cleric can heal.

The paladin replaces a knight on the play field, meaning it cannot exsist with 3 knights. That means you can have 2 knights and a paladin, or 3 knights.

Hammers in battle can be used to can a knight by basically crushing the knight in his own armor.

Boom! Headshot.

so, it does the same amount as a dragon, but more quickly, and has better blocking? might be a bit too strong.

Yet it can't teleport, move four spaces, and shoot three spaces

Not saying that you're not right, but there's factors you overlooked. Power isn't everything. A knight can beat a dragon one on one because the knight has less recovery.

Yeah, i originally had it at 25 attack, but I thought maybe that wasn't enough. I also thought about the paladin having a cleric-speak sort of thing where it gives a boost to all knights, just as the dragonspeaker gives a boost to pyromancers.

a unit that does 28 unblockable damage.. does it every turn. and as long as ur cleric alive it continues to do it...
well most ppl tend to keep clerics at the back and tend to keep it alive. clerics will never be on the front lines and can do ealing perfectly well.
any units that tries too attack cleric will get slaughteres coz the paldin does 28 damage to them inblockable.
this unit would dlay a scout with ease.
as soon as scout attacks . the paladin will have 2 goes before it has one. and even with healing the scout would not survive
way to overpowered.

maybe it should dncrease to 27, and the cleric cannot heal while the paladin is on the field (the cleric loses its 12 power and gives it to paladin).

and what happens if a paladin user has multiple clerics on the field?

Hey, I like that idea. I'll make some changes right now.

I like the idea, but it could've used a little more work.

I think this unit might be a little over powered; including the fact that it does as much damage as a Dragon and it has the defense of a Knight.

This means that it's like the Dragon & Knight mixed up, which is a pretty over-powered unit.

Since it's this strong, it obviously will be a Gold Unit, therefore; making Golds immortal to Grays.

I like the idea, and I like the thought you put into it. I enjoyed reading your idea. :) Good luck in your further posts! Sincerely, StrongSide.

I like the idea but to make the cleric more vulnerable how about if Paladin remains on the field cleric cannot be barriered nor placed on the last line?
