Hey, I've been using this dropless grey setup for a while now and I'm wondering if anyone could critique or recommend using anther setup that is effective against all around sets or whatnot. Feel free to comment and criticize, thanks.

I, myself, think that a Chanty is always good for a grey set.

There are many styles of sets that can be used effectivly, I personally like using wardlesses. I'm over-aggresive and like to out attack, If thats your style I would suggest wardless. They key is finding a set that fits your style and even then ability is alot more important then a great set. If your staying with a corner set I would add a chanty, and maybe move up your magic. Your set is kinda jumbeled you want a set that can maintain an attack with multipul units and defend with multipul units from all sides. Good luck finding a set!

I'd move your assassin over one, to cover the flank. It's not really doing much just standing there behind your knight. I'd also move your DMW one more forward.

I'd do what Pikachu said, although I'd prefer to have the knight up beside the LW (the one in-front of the witch)

Well, with a barrier ward and two mages in the back field, them being able to get as close as possible without actually exposing themselves could help out in quite a few situations.

And a knight being guarded from a flank shot [in addition to being out of common LW range] isn't?

Hmm, that does seem like a useful unit to use when using a turt setup, but lately when I've used a chanty most opponents avoid getting in range of her attack, which practically renders her useless, unless I'm being rushed. I think I'll hold off on a chanty for now. Thanks for your opinion.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I'm still experimenting with sets in hopes to find a set that works with my style, which I am still trying to figure out. Thanks for your comments!

This suggestion sounds really promising, I'll give it a go for sure. Thanks for critiquing the set.

Well of course they avoid the chanty, but if it's next to your cleric and they don't want to come into range, they won't attack your cleric by that theory.

Your chanty will be in use in 50% of your games, and on those 50% of games she will win you 25% of them.

The chanty is a great unit when you have taken out the range units. Such as pyro, witch and scout. Once those units are out of the way. A chanty and barrier ward combo are pretty much unstoppable by knights and sassy's.

This is just... um ... very simplistic view to put it in a non-insulting way.
Enchantress is involved in every single game. Most of the time however, influence isn't direct but indirect instead. I view it as a sort of "booster" for other units. It doesn't do too much by itself, but other pieces of mine get more freedom and can be positioned better, and the effect is HUGE.
If all chanty could do was the usual "chanty pwnage" players here seem to love so much, I'd not use it. It's like a bonus, but not the main thing. If it isn't so for you, you're using it wrong.

That's not only what chanty is about, but TAO is. Is not that 2 scouts can kill clerics better than anyone, or can they kill everything in rush games. What Tao has lost is the sense of this game ( which Chess bringed to us ), that's to think about the moves. And hopefully your team ( set ) will suit you well. But luck, and the short range that exists between fields, it makes tao a matter of luck, and patience. Luck because if you got a disadvantaged set, you should lose against a players with an equal or similar level to yours. I mean, why besides luck to let set advantage to take the game into its hands. Just put 1 more tile between fields and everything is going to run good for the people that actually want to think. Dsms wouldnt be that important, mud quake might be a carefully thought move instead being the same move that will take damage while you attack with your 2 scouts and dragon.
This game it needs more work. And if no1 take cares about it, it will stay being a game that is fun for a while but it doesn't really give any sense to strategic games. I've played everyone considered good in this game, i've beat them all many times, and i know i am not near to a decent strategic player, cause i dont have enough patience. AFO, makes the same mistakes everytime, and i see them since 2 years ago. And he won the last finals. Probably kasparov would suck at TAO, because everything is pretty much luck. Everyone using the same set, everyone can learn moves against it, or not. But the fact is TAo has been made in a way that no1 can really have time to think against a rusher with dsm, you can just react. And who kill who faster, is just not a good game. Let's face it, TAO has an initial idea that's good, but Seed did not take care of it cause it did not pay off. And we did pay off.

Yes, my top three grey units for overall impact on the game are
1. Chanty
2. Cleric
3. Scout

I would have the scout a tad bit higher since you can easily win a game without using the cleric.
