It's come to my attention that a rumor has spread among the players in Banff that I'm a cheater and/or formation spy.
I know exactly who started these rumors. I beat people that didn't think I could beat them, and beat them so easily that they suspect that I cheated to do so. Because they always jump greys like cowards, they suspect ME of being one of those greys, and then using that knowledge to play them as gold. I've been accused of taking screenshots of other formations and showing them to my clan members(that's not cheating anyways, since it's among the clan, but nevertheless, I've never done that. I only learned how to take screenshots a VERY short while ago, I'm embarrassed to admit.)
The golds who don't jump greys, and only play golds, know that I'm not a cheater and that I'm a good player. True strategists like the Mysterious Wanderer and Cyberwizard can vouch for me in that regard. They couldn't suspect me of hiding as a grey, because like me, they play for the challenge, and only play golds.
But among those lesser-skilled golds who get their points jumping greys, I've been accused of cheating. Like I said, I know exactly who you guys are, but because I still feel like being a nice guy, I won't say your names.(But if I have to, I'll list every one of you.) I'm just going to tell you that I don't appreciate this at all. I don't appreciate your hypocrisy either, because I know that one of you has gotten your high rating purely through cheating.
I'm the leader of clan [netjak.com]. We're a proud clan, not only because we're the best on Banff(smile), but because our name comes from a very popular gaming site named netjak.com. I wrote a review about this game here ( http://www.netjak.com/review.php/548 ), and I'm an executive, forum moderator, reviewer, and administrator there. I work under the name of "Twelve" there as well.
Now let me tell you one reason why I wouldn't be stupid enough to cheat. IF I ever cheated, and I got caught, I would bring a direct bad image on my website. I work with the same name there as I play here, so there is nothing to hide...everyone would know that a person at netjak is a cheater, and that would bring shame on a great website.
As you can see by the review, I respect and love this game very much. I think it's a work of genius. I'm an avid chess player, and I bring a certain kind of chess respect for this game as well. I give much credit for Seed and Divine Right for the work they do here, and I think the two of them are amazing.
Cheating would spoil the game for myself as well...I would no longer have a challenging game to play, and I'm the kind of guy who needs a challenge.
Like I said, I know who you clowns are who said those things about me. I'm going to tell you to shut up, first of all, and play me like a man. You know who you are, and I know who you are.
Second of all, I ask that the people who have heard these rumors will not believe them and continue to play me. I'm here for the game, folks. Let's play.
