Well try this combo against mage bombs. A mud quake followed by a Dragonspeaker mage atatck. Works wonders on clustered up mage forms.

havn't faught a mage bomb, but I can imagin the carnage with a mud/DSM attack

It works. trust me ^^. And even if they heal, you can atack with dsm and then muddied again! =D
