Well... this is my thought for a ward type of unit
HP
55
Armor
20
Block
100/100
Movement
N/A
Recovery 2
Attack Radius
Same as barrier ward
Special Abiltys
The Blob shoots out muk at the units feet ensnaring them.
Unit becomes ensnared for 4 turns

Recovery is at 2 so that at least 2 units can be ensnared at one given time.

Frost golem is like Blob how?
Frost golem paralizes one unit focus and can move the Blob is a ward capable of ensnaring two units i fail to see what your getting at thats like saying the Enchantress is the same as a Frost golem.

Moosey, in your idea.

Keep cleric right next to it, and you CANNOT lose.

Kill 8 opponent units, and the other two will become snared and NEVER be able to move.

And yes, the Frost golem is almost the exact same thing as your blob.

Biggest difference: the ensnared unit could still act, sort of like having the unit surrounded with shrubs from a Furgon.

Another difference: the ward doesn't have to Focus. This has both advantages and disadvantages.

well, thats kind of a long shot but hell, we got the furgon. :) So the ensnared unit, say a scout, would still be able to shoot and block, just not move right? that would be kind of handy, especially against knights.

Range of 6.
