The game was made so there is no single all important unit. The closest you could get is the cleric simply because thats the only unit that heals.

Seems like the vote is fairly close between the scout and cleric. I still got my money on the cleric though, only healing unit so far in this game.

If you had to pick one unit to be best i would put my money on a scout by far. If the person actually knows how to use one they become very annoying and very helpfull.

Stone golems are really handy and have saved my hide many times but they really are kind of just another support unit. Its hard to pick one but I would still have to say cleric, if for no other reason than you will rarely see a formation without one. But back to the point, its about using your units as a team.

The knight gets my vote. All other units are great, but only in supporting roles to the knight. Take one of any unit against one knight and i'll put my money on the knight.... with the exception of paralysing units of course. The problem wiht paralysing units is that they're rather defenseless

I voted for the Frost Golem. I voted for it not because of its impotance, but for its usefullness. It has helped me win many battles, plus it is my favorite unit. lol, I remember when the Frost Golem was the most neglected of the golems, and the Mud Golem was the best one(before the Stonie was released ofcourse).

The cleric, definitely.. If you kill the enemy cleric and use your own than you can beat the game about 60%

Anyone who asks this question and comes back with an answer other than "Cleric" needs to either think harder, or reconsider their approach to the game. :)

I voted knight because, no matter what happens during the game, when it comes down to the end, my knight is the last man standing... except for when all of my other units are standing too... but that's a different story altogether.

you are wrong my friend... the cleric, while usefull, can be tossed for a unit that is more usefull... if I had a fourth knight... well.. I would probably take out that damn pyro... but... If I could... I would go all knights... (and get owned by enchantresses... shut up you). Knights are the freaking workhorse of this game... they should get like... a medal for bravery... or a raise... or... lots of sexual favors... I volunteer the monkey.

I didn't put in the enchantress because I hear a lot of people slamming her and much fewer people burning the Assassin or scout. :( sorry but after all was said and done, I didn't have room for it. Maybe next time. :)

I use to. MUAHAHAHAHA.....until I trashed them. I use to have 2 mud golems too. I trashed them a few days before the new attack came. Thats what you call ironic.
