I have been reset for using a vulgar username.

it most likely was, someone told one of the mods about ur game and they deleted it... or it could be that it was lost in the hiccup that happened a while back, but if u have played on it recently (like yesterday or the day before) i dont think thats a possibility

if ur name was profane and on the filter list then when ppl would try and /stat u they got booted, so they report it to the admins and since there is a filter in place to keep that kind of language off the game, its only logical that names consisting of filtered words should not be allowed, thus ur name was deleted, and DivineRight has made it known that one of his up-coming projects is a swear filter on the name creation... so my suggestion to u is to learn to stop using profanity in-game

ur reasoning and language skills are enough to make anyone unsympathetic. If u'd acknowledged that ur account name was inappropiate I might feel inclined to be more on ur side.

But ur obvious lack of maturity and common sense, plus your blaming of other when u knew ur account name was profane (and the knowledge that steps have been taken in TAO to remove that language from it) just make me want to laugh and point at the dumb kid....so I will :)

And, since you are playing a FREE game, the game does reserve the right to decide on a case by case basis what is allowed. If that was just your name, and not your attitude, you might have gotten away with it. The sole discretion of Flash Studios is a common legal term that says they can decide at any time that what you are and are saying is vulgar, and kick you from the game.
And, THEY ARE RIGHT!

i think each of his posts managed to fall under every single section of that one. I luv it how his lack of any proper language skills is blamed on others as "their problem" and he comments on how he wants someone of authority to reply right below Aro23r's first post...smoothe kid...really smoothe.
