Medusa
Power: ------- 15 (Physical - can be blocked)
Range: ------- 4 (Line of Sight)
Area of Effect: 1

Hit Points: ---- 35
Armor: ------- 12
Block: -------- 50

Move: -------- 4
Recovery: ---- 2

Action:
Blockable, LOS attack ala Scout.

Concentration: (Click and Hold)
All units, both friend and foe, within 3 squares may be subjected to a Petrification attack.

Petrification: Does not need Focus. Affected units are turned to stone until either the unit is hit with a damaging affect or the Medusa is killed.

I had 2 thoughts on this. The positions of the various units would determine either the % chance of stoning (no pun intended) the affected units or determine the level of petrification effect.

Unit in Front flank of Medusa and:
Facing Toward - 100%
Turned to 1 Side - 50%
Facing Away - 0%

Unit in Side flank of Medusa and:
Facing Toward - 50%
Turned to 1 Side - 25%
Facing Away - 0%

Unit in Rear flank of Medusa - 0% regardless of unit's facing

Effect of Petrification (Thought 1):
Armor is increased by 100 - A petrified Scout would have Armor of 108, not 16.
Paralysis

Effect of Petrification (Thought 2): (for 100% Effect)
Power -100%
Range -100%

Armor +100
Block -100%

Move -100%
Recovery Infinite

Examples: Scout 25% Stoned - Knight 50% Stoned
Power: -------- 14 --------------------- 11
Range: --------- 5 ---------------------- 1
AoE: ----------- 1 ---------------------- 1

Hit Points: --- Current ---------------- Current
Armor: --------- 33 --------------------- 38
Block: ---------- 45 --------------------- 40

Move: ---------- 3 ---------------------- 2
Recovery: ------ 3 ---------------------- 2

Important Note for Thought 2: This is not cumulative!
To increase the %Effect, the Medusa has to catch the unit in a more exposed position.

Appearance:
Female figure with a bow, a quiver of arrows, and a cloak with the hood pulled low to hide her face. When she performs the Concentration attack, she pulls back the hood to reveal a snake-encrusted head. Her eyes then flash with a white light.

Anybody like this? Does everybody hate it? Comments, suggestions, flames, anything?
