Cant login/register

This is more of a problem rather then a bug, but seeing as theres no support forum, I am going to post it here.

I can't register or login... quite simply won't let me.

I hit the register button, fill out the info and hit submit and it just sits there on the "please wait" screen for around 15 minutes and then says "server unavailable". I get this error with all the servers and i am sure they are not down or anything because my freind was logged in at the same time. I also let my freind create an account for me and tried that but same problem... keeps hanging on the please wait.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Note: I'm on a 2-way satellite connection and have high latency, could this be an issue? (my freind, who it works for, is on dialup)

high latency could be an issue, i've got no experience here with high ping but it generally causes a problem everywher else so i'm willing to bet that is ur problem

The only thing is how it hangs for around 15 minutes. I would think it would time out after around 60 seconds, and my latency is only around 900ms.

u have a 900 ping?! ouch! but yeah the TAO servers arent real good about timing out, usually they just hang, i suggest u try playing on ur friends computer, sowwie :(
