Well actually mega a stat limit is a very good thing....this way it gives ppl in our clan a goal 2 reach ..which will make them play more...and this will make our clan only have decent ppl and players in it!

As I have said on numerous occasions, the Phoenix Reborne ratings requirement is necessary only for applying trial members to weed out the good from the bad. Granted, it is a limited test of ability, but after we give them a trial membership we also require they play as many clan members as possible. We then vote them in or out, compared to some clans, our recruiting process is much faster and efficient for hopefuls.

Another thing that I just remembered, one of the reasons we implemented the rating's requirement was because we found a cheater in the clan who had gotten through our screening process. His name, infamous on Armageddon, was CALIBULA and I'm sure you all ought to be grateful we don't have more people like him in our clan.

Yes, Phoenix Reborne did lose a few members over the past two weeks, however many of them are returning. Early today, I convinced both themanhere10 and tiger army 129. Our clan is seemingly growing more and more popular.

but it makes it so only the most active players will join. Not necessarily good ones, with the overabundance of grey and noob hunters. For instance, I am one of the least active players in the clan I'm in, I am quite busy and simply don't have hours to cram into TAO each and every day. Does that mean that a play like me would be discluded simply because I have a life?

Its more preferable (to me at least) if you simply have specific members who are good at analyzing players to play them as a sort of trial and observe their behavior in game and in lobby.

Yep, definate different in philosophy here.
DragonFire trials and votes in people based on their personality & their skill. Personality is set, skill can be improved upon.

Too many of the people with top 100 scores get there simply through volume. I have advocated for a "games played" indicator on the ranking page, but I dont think it will ever happen. Take a persons "rank" and divide it by their games played and you would get a measure of a person's REAL skill.

disclaimer: not hacking on PR at ALL. The thread seems to have focused on recruitment style. Just commenting on recruitment concepts.
