Im thinking that the units are an incentive to spend the money on the gold account. Money that is required to keep the sight up and running. Money that is needed to keep the servers ( BANFF for instance) running strong without hiccups or down time. Money that I spent so I could play this game on the ONE SATURDAY THAT MY WIFE IS GONE ALL DAY AND I HAVE THE HOUSE TO MYSELF AND I CANT LOG ON TO MY GODDAMN SERVER! *Deep Breath* Sorry about that. But hey, what the hell do I know?

The reason golds get more units is because they pay for the game. Therefore, they are entitled to benefits. Greys, on the other hand, do nothing to support the game but take up precious space on the servers. So there is no reason why greys should get more units.

Also, greys can be silenced quite easily. They don't pay for the game, so they have no leverage
