Congratulations! Make the most of it. The next 4-5 years will seem to drag on very slowly, but when they're over you'll feel like they flew by faster than any before in your life.

Pieces of collegiate advice:
1) Don't drink yourself out of school.
2) Don't drug yourself out of school.
3) Don't game yourself out of school.
4) Don't underestimate the chances of 1-3 happening to you.

Oh, and:

5) If you live in the US, register to vote and get GWB out of office so you actually have a job waiting for you when you graduate.

7. Drink hard alcohal. It's much better than regular beer, and you won't gain a bunch of weight from all those empty calories. I like Southern Comfort. :D

Resc...this is exactly why you should go...learn as much as you can so you can not only solidify your beliefs but maybe make changes to the system...College is the ultimate place to not just learn, but teach

If I have learned one thing about liberals it is this, there is no teaching them anything, and there is no rationality to their thinking,. However I hear ya man, but I fear that I would end up in scraps with the teachers same as HS.

Very true. And conservatives will believe anything they are told.

"Really? You choked on a pretzel while watching the superbowl and that is why you fell over and put a mark on your face? And you say there was no beer to go with the pretzels and superbowl? Hell, thats good enough for me!"

(Don't blame me, I voted for both of them)

Thanks everyone. And to answer a few interesting points: This year it is Clarkson, in northern New York that I am going to, and Yes Americans are weird, but I was born In motreal and lived there until i was six(Go Canada :D). I love canada, i was planning on going to college there after next year, but to do so i would have to get rid of my old green card, then apply for a new one, and thats a big hassle. So after this year, I'm going to try to transfer to George washington University in Washington D.C. :D

ahahahahahahaha!!! that's funny! However I disagree, otherwise conservatives would have bought that the iraq war was over the oil, as the media so terribly wanted and still wants people to belive.

I agree thom, GO CANADA!! The only country to ever invade, capture, and hold American cities :D

They were too busy believing that Iraq was about fighting terrorism to think it had anything to do with oil (that was the first one that was about oil, this one was a personal vendetta that needed to be fulfilled)

Canadians don't scare us! Except maybe Todd Bertuzzi.
