What is with Legends players

Ok, first I know legends doesn't exhist.
But why do players from it come here and beg people to join their clan on legends? Why do they come here to brag about how great it is there?
Some of them are even gold on the servers. But it seems bad manners to me to have them sit in the lobby and talk about legends for 15 minutes at a time.

*shrugs* i havent seen any legenders in game, all i kno of for sure is merf, quicks and bobmarly(i think?) and i believe they r all greys here (correct me if i'm wrong) i wonder if the ppl making these claims really r from legends or if they r just spouting off to make themselves look better?

Yeah I hear ya, I only have bad things to say about players from legends, and nothing good. Except for quicks, he's a damn cool guy.

its just hard to make a clan and get new players but if you have a legends clan they will join if they play legends and they know you
but SI kotr and the other top clans hold most of the good players

Yes I am Keiphus in that place of non existance. Actually though, we get alot of commercial people at our servers trying to recruit legenders to play here. So it's even I guess. :-\

I don't see why people would want to get legenders to play here. I personally feel the less over-bloated skill<attitude people we have the better :P except for quicks. :)

Merf is cool as well look he is orginising a tourney for us all getting nothing for it but our ungreatefulness.

I would say attention would remain focused on making TAO a better game than Legends as opposed to denying its existence and fighting those who are trying to recruit from the TAO arenas.

TAO is supposed to be an "improved" or "commercial" version of the product. As such, it ought to provide an experience above and beyond Legends. If it does this to a sufficient degree, then recruitment will not be an issue because people will remain w/ TAO for the additional content or gameplay experiences.

If it fails to do this, then frankly it deserves to lose players to Legends which provides an incredibly comparable service at a reduced price.

It's business folks. Beat your competition with a superior product and/or superior service and pretty much everything else will fall into place. TAO can't win simply by silencing dissenters.

Thanks for all the complements guys. It's good to know that I'm well liked. As for the other Legends people, I'll not try to make any effort at all to defend them. We have some serious jerks on our server. Hopefully they'll just dissapear.

Merforga is also someone who deserves praise, he has been nothing but helpful since he's joined this forum.

u get permanent upgrade 4 $10 and $20 for advanced upgrade there.

Grey accounts are permanent there.

but beware...lobby lag is extreme(if ur PC sux) there and there tones of good players that can really kick ass.

DR - why don't you just change the name of the new gold server to Legends?

Then, people would see the name legends, and associate it with your server. They won't go looking for more info, because they will automatically assume you are talking about that one. This will allow you to keep users, and make more money (or at least not lose any).
