I was just in a fight with Black Paladin and he had three knights and a lightning ward against one of my pyros and an enchantress, the pyro only had like 12 hp and my enchantress was full health, well it too me a while tofigure it out but two of his knights were very close to the ward but his other knight was far, so i paralyzed his two knights and the ward, and then moved my pyro near the enchantress, the enchantress still had 2 turns left to recover when his knight came up and atttacked my pyro... then he attacked my enchantress when he recovered from killing my pyro, well when he attacked my enchantress, that was the end of him and paralyed it too, and i won... twas a good match... i love the enchantress... so many think of her as worthless, but thanks to her i won an impossible looking fight
That's an interesting quality of the enchantress. Very often if she has has recovered, and is at full health, no unit should come up to attack her, because they will fall under her spell along with whoever else she has captured. In your case, because the enchantress had recovered and was at full health, your opponent had lost, because the only way to win was to attack the enchantress, and as soon as he had done that, he lost.

i have 2 enchants and i still hate them. anyone who let that happed to them is realy noob. people enchant rush me feel the pain of an arrow to the back of their head

Frost golem is much better . . . Longer range less recovery time and can survive a few hits. I would never trade mine in :)

Yeah, ive only been able to use my enchantress a few times against noobs.... Only when I was fighting on another server with the basic units...
Her limited movement, awkaward attack patern, lack of blocking and armor, and 3 turn recovery make her pale in comparison to the frost golem.

Frost golems are much better. Paralyze a unit, hack him to death, and repeat.
Works like a charm.

yeah frosties are OK, but chanties i prefer simply coz u can lure all the other units into her web.

that's wut happen to me when i was fighting with this guy.. he had 2 worriors and a enchantress,1 cleric. i have 3 worriors, 1 archer, 1 cleric. first he parlized 2 of my worriors, then i try to kill him enchantress with my 3rd worrior, but i couldnt reach, so i moved closer... and he parlized all three of my worriors, then he moved his worrior in from of his enchantress, so my archer could shoot him... i hat enchantress :mad:

instead of using your "worriors" you should always attack the "freeze woman" with the archer, as he can stay nicely out of range. after the archer has broken the "freeze womans" "magic freeze" then the "worriors" can "hack her to death".

it desont work that way.. my diagram is not exact.. and no matter where i move in the moving range, i would weather hit one of his woirrors or one of mine...

killer: take advice from those of us who have played the game more than a few times, that enchantress is easily reachable: K= your knights (not "worriors"), k=his knight, E=ench, s=scout (not "archer") - normal shot, t=trick shot required (aim one space behind ench to hit her)

always remember that the scout can shoot 4 spaces up and 2 spaces over, as long as a unit is not standing 2 spaces up and 1 space over - helpful trick to pick out hiding units
but regardless, LOS should not have been an issue, never move a knight into a waiting enchantress - people, it's not that hard to count recovery turns and your movements, but more than newbies are hurt by the enchantress - I use her extremely well and find some use for her against almost anyone - even veterans can make mistakes against enchantresses, and they do - even if the ench only scares a unit away from attacking, then it has done its job, hasn't it?
while a frost golem can prove more effective (not that i would know being that i'm gray), the ench can be more helpful in some situations - leave an ench on your back row and wait to use her until the end of the game or unless she is completely safe from attack - guard her by shifting units in front after he freeze or quickly attacking ranged units that may be approaching - couldn't do without my "freeze woman"
p.s. - the word is WARRIOR, and that's not even the correct term

Enchantress's rock. I use two of them, and two barrier wards in one setup. I've only lost once, and that was when my opponent kept making, and hitting frontal knight shots on me.

A Chanty can freeze multiple units only if they are all within 2 spaces of her. Consequently, no two units more than four spaces apart can be frozen simultaneously. A chanty that moves and freezes has a fairly long recovery, giving ample time for other units to rescue the frozen victim, who will then unfreeze and finish the chanty; on the other hand, allowing the chanty to activate the freeze without moving lets her reload fast, often fast enough to deny a window of opportunity to break the hold and finish her off.
That said, the chanty is one of my favorite units, especially with a barrier to back her up.
