Has anyone noticed the exhorbitant amount of accounts on the servers lately? Who are all these people? I think there should be some form of filtering for the accounts so as to avoid the annoying dumps of greys that the administrators have to do every few months. I don't want the game to become too restricted, but there has to be some form of control for all these accounts. What does everyone else think?

I think there should be a limited number of trial accounts available to to the public. mabee 400-500 per server, which are then wiped every month. after the limit is reached no new grey accounts should be admitted.

Won't happen Rick James.

Server Sweeps will always occur -God-. Thats one of the incentives to go gold.

I see, I see, a blunt form of subliminal messaging

Poor GL'ers. The reason you have been assailed by newbies is becasue you are now the default server.

Muahahahahaha!
Banff was the default, but it was switched to GL for a while. This means unless they specifically choose another server, people just logging in will be on GL.
Sorry Charlie.

I'd rather be buried in n00bs than have to admit to being a Banff :P

I think that only INACTIVE grey accounts should be swept, it wouldn't be that hard to set it up that way. Server sweeps are bad for Golds too because it screws up the clan system.

like aro said wipes are incentive to go gold. however, they should make something like if a new acount is not signed on again in 7 days it s automatically deleted. this way maybe the server wipe can be adjusted to once every 2 months.
