? Am I widely hated around here or something? I realize that I am no Homecoming King, but you make it sound like I'm the guy that nobody wants to sit with in the lunch room. I mean, I can't get included on the Asshole poll (that's right, I said "asshole poll":D)and yet apparently this was only because they didn't respect me enough to consider me an asshole. OP, What criteria did you base your Phone Book on besides post count? It seems to heavily favour members whose primary posts are in General Discussion. I have researched members that were not included and found that they favour forums like Clan Discussion, Create-A-Unit, Bugs, Suggestions, Gold Strategy, Server Chat, the Newbie board and so-on. I think many notable and helpful players might have been overlooked from their lack of posting in General Discussion.

You want in you got to be here (posting at least kind of frequently) and be heard (posting something someone would want to read).

In retrospect I'll probably be taking a name or two off when I split it up and reorganize it. Namely SKOF, hes never done anything anyones remembered... :D

This is why I was going to break it up into minors and majors instead of just alphabetically...really, there are some underserving names on the list right now as it stands as a "major forumer" list. There seems to be a problem with that so just post who you think makes major contibutions to other sections of the forum, no clan thread post whores though-thats a different thing all together, and they will get slotted on the minor roster. This will allow me add links to major posts on threads that person may have had...Vinnys Declartion of War, Wurtils Great lakes has felt my presence, my OTAOCP...well, my anything :D and another thing, you can't really make a all encompassing TAO directory as alot of forumers don't play much and most players don't post much. There is so many more players then posters it would be a real "who is, who isn't" argument to keep the lists to reasonable size. Even then you would have to have one for each server and all I really know is GL. I'll probably put some of the major players on the list under a different heading, and that will cover just about anyone who is really a big name in the game. So what was my point...anyway, they'll get added too. Right now I'm looking at doubling the list in size before adding in other features :D Post Whore, crazy person, lackey, obsessive compulsive :D...I'm a all around winner

think of it like this...if someone asked you to create a list of names in this forum without looking back at it...what are the names you would write down?

Allllllllllllllllllllrighty then...people engaging in a slap fight on my thread (for the record: LondonJack is known as Jack the Gripper or just Gripper :D). My work here is complete. Except it isn't. Seems to be that if I split it by status myself it would swamp this thread with spam the likes of which the world hath not fathom. As for the major players thing...kind of the same thing here...people most everyone else knows...Tcbb, stuff like that, guess maybe that ain't a good idea, nor was the status split. My initial thought on that was the minors would only comprise the truly minor (SKOF :D) or the retired, like bohemian, he needs mentitioning as he created a central piece of the general forum but other than the three word story...there is nothing anyone remembers. And since this will have to be spread over two or more posts...I'll be able to add more history so post it here or pm me cause most of the descriptions I wrote are generalities and suck harder than a ball bearing T67 turbo at full spool.

Anyway...revisions to come...namely if I can somehow post right under my first post so I can keep it all in one place instead of half on page 1, half on page X. Any thoughts on that Aro? Right now its about 9992 of an allowed 10000 characters and I had to take myself off the list to do that and hell, if anyone deserves to be on the list its me. If not I got a back up plan but I don't want to go that route if possible.

This thread got stickied at the suggestion of someone, and Aro agreed. Frankly I made it because I was bored. Now having lost most interest in it as it is pretty much unable to-add-to-able as it stands without comeplete changing the way it was done, I can say that it was done as an exercise in forum community something. As for labeling everyone, frankly, I haven't seemed to blatantly, up-side-the-head offend anyone, and really most of the descripitions are generalities. None of the people on the list offended anyone in anyway except for maybe Achillies :D, but that was always good natured and a diliberate attempt at sarcastic humor. And well, SKOF has always been offensive in odor, but as a small, wood dwelling, bug munching CareBear that can be excused :D. The idea about it being stickied I guess was to give the new forumers some kind of grasp as to who we were talking about when we tossed names around on the posts, and perhaps a little of what to expect if they reply to someones post. And everyone loves hearing about themselves so that works too :D.
